The track for this hurricane looks “off”. A year or two ago, I believe it was five hurricanes in a row tracked up the west coast of Mexico, and into the Gulf of California. The jet stream is nowhere near it, so I would think it wouldn’t be deflected east.

No sane, caring person would wish to see anyone destroyed by a Natural disaster, be it in Mexico or here in the US. If the projected path holds up however, I think that the Mexican government is going to be primarily concerned with the effects on its own infrastructure & citizenry (you would hope); thousands of alien migrants mucking up disaster relief efforts only exacerbate things, and you may see them take more action toz stop the caravan.

That’s what I was thinking. Maybe Willa will stop the caravan. The hurricane threatens the west coast. The path from Guatamala to the Texas border is 1/2 the distance of to the California or Arizona borders. The path to the TX border is along the east coast... a thousand miles away from where the hurricane might hit.
