Last month, a few days after my six-year-old daughter started first grade, I was standing in the schoolyard, having just watched her walk off to her classroom, when I was accosted by another parent.
She told me that, given my conservative views, I should leave liberal California and move to Kansas, where I’d learn how they treat Jews like me.
I asked her if she thought she was being “tolerant.” She replied: “I am tolerant. I just hate you.”
I have hesitated to write about that incident until now, because I did not want to escalate the conflict. But in the past several weeks, it has become clear that conservatives around the country are having similar experiences.

Trump has warned voters that Democrats are an “angry mob” — and voters seem to agree, pushing up Republicans’ poll numbers. But polls do not vote — and volunteers may be too afraid of the mob to do what is necessary to make sure Republican voters turn out on Election Day.
There is already anecdotal evidence from the field, where Republicans are reluctant to canvass their neighborhoods, or even put up yard signs, lest they face retaliation.

I got a letter from the Washington Post asking me to take part in a survey. I didn’t.
Wasn’t afraid of them. Not intimidated. Just want to keep my power dry and fire when it will have effect - on Election Day. They will learn all they need to know then, and may the Lord have mercy on anyone who tries to get in my way Election Day. I sure won’t! Don’t get mad. Get even. Success is the best revenge!
Arizona has “Constitutional Carry”. If someone wants to get in the face of an old guy and threaten him, they need to ask themselves, “Do I feel lucky?” If they want to assault an old guy going to his NRA marked truck at night, they risk a 357 surprise. And knowing that, and never knowing WHO may be carrying, makes for a politer society.
I’m the ONE in my neighborhood who puts up signs...I think I’ve figured out that I’m the one who helps remind the half of my neighborhood that’s GOP to vote, and also gives them info so they know who/what to vote for...especially for judges and ill-written and confusing Measures. In our area, SEIU rules...and people are scared to out themselves. Me, I don’t care.
That’s mostly true, but here in Idaho I have seen a few Outbacks with a bunch of pro-gun stickers on them.

This is not a fear. It’s an absolute well known fact. You are not allowed to legally defend yourself from a violent mob. The .gov would be extremely wise to either alter this policy or get these fruitcakes under control. The result of this policy is that once people decide that they, in fact, don’t have anything to lose anymore, physical confrontations will occur and they won’t be limited to self defense.

America has some institutional and cultural advantages against this. There are large swaths of the country where ‘that dog won’t hunt’ as it were. Notice these protestors always go to blue areas. They rarely ever roll into right leaning suburbs or right leaning smaller cities. They know damned well it wouldn’t go well if they did. Localities still have great latitude for self government if they’re willing to tell the federales to keep their money.
There may not be a lot of Jews in Kansas, but I’ll bet there are a heck of a lot of nice Christians there! The sort who wouldn’t ask about religion or politics when stopping to help someone with a flat tire...
I hope so.
In a sane Society, the one word answer to why you support The Second Amendment is Liberty.
In today’s Society, that one word answer is Democrats.
“Kansas” was likely the first state name in flyover country to pop into her mind. In her mind, any place not California is an unspeakable backwater, filled with ignorant peasants. She wasn’t just talking about Kansas, she was talking about every state outside of the wonderful enlightened fairy tale land of California (well, except maybe for New York and Massachusetts).
I bet it's even more specific that that. I'm sure she also hates the “hicks” in the few (non-urban) areas of CA that are still conservative....:^)
Yes, we Vote and the Left does everything they can do to nullify and steal our Vote.
We complain about Voter Fraud. The Left says there is no proof of Voter Fraud.
When we say we are concerned about Illegal Invaders Voting and push for Voter ID, the Left turns it into we are denying Blacks the Vote and we are pushing a new Poll Tax.
Heck, Joe the groper Biden said just last week that there is no proof of Voter Fraud. Sometimes they use the word “widespread” which is ridiculous.
Anybody asks me how many fraudulent Votes are too many, my answer is always the same, ONE. The one that cancels out my Vote and the one that cancels out your Vote.
yeah I blow off those surveys too. they’re always designed to advance the liberal agenda no matter how you answer the questions.
Well, we’re silent no longer. And if we can’t defeat the fascists at the polling place, we will certainly not be silent when they come for us.
To hell with the “official” Republican Party and their oligarchs. The party is nothing without the rank-and-file to support it.

Letting Bully’s get away with giving conservative beat downs
just encourages them. They don’t scare me and anyone in the class of conservatives I mentioned won’t be cowered by fear.
For myself, I am big and old but still quick and only hit pressure points and throw attackers onto the concrete.
The Mob attacks in numbers against one person that is their

Many of these Mob people are being paid by Dems and the DOJ should be going after the money and who gave it.

So, now we have to suffer demonrat cognitive dissonance writ large, with violence, because what they know just ain’t so and that FACT is being confirmed again and again with each and all of President Trump’s political/economic achievements.
For what it’s worth, their tantrums had to happen sooner or later.
Their fundamental transformation BS went bust long before “they” and their obama weapon made it official here.
And after all of that is revealed the people who actually helped are probably still hated just for supporting Trump.

Reluctance to volunteer to be a target does not translate into reluctance to break it off in their a$$ via the franchise.
