Good, when regional federal officials call in effective law enforcement, be sure your boys are not in the area.
“I do not want the @PortlandPolice to be engaged or sucked into a conflict...”
I do not want the portland police to be sucked into a conflict between the bank and the bank robbers.
The Left-wing agenda is purportedly to make everyone equal - except for their own elite ruling class.
In order to make people equal requires the use of force (either directly or thru coercion).
So the net result is a society of mediocrity, not a meritocracy. What we see today in the universities is mediocrity and soft fascism (stifling free speech in the name of Political Correctness, aka the speech police).
Its so ironic (and sad) that American universities used to be a bastion of objective learning and intellectual freedom.
What had been the Free Speech Movement at Berkeley has now been hijacked and is the Controlled Speech Movement via political correctness. Speech and behavior is monitored and controlled essentially by the speech police. People are punished academically or professionally for not stepping in line. There is a 2007 book written by Jonah Goldberg titled Liberal Fascism that is an excellent reference on this subject!
Here’s a good review of it on Amazon:

This wonderful well-researched 487 page volume (Liberal Fascism: The secret history of the American Left from Mussolini to the politics of meaning by Jonah Goldberg) explores the history of fascism, which most people know little or nothing about. Most people relate Fascism as right wing in nature and Socialism/Communism as left wing; however, the fact is, they are all collectivist systems and end up the same, being glorifying the STATE rather than individualism. The result is always a state dictatorship.
Strangely, I have always stated when talking politics to anyone that it is my personal opinion that Inside every Liberal is a fascist/socialist dictator who is fighting to get out desiring to destroy individualism, capitalism, and personal freedom. Reading this fantastic book reinforces my political opinions that so called progressives are intellectually dishonest and bankrupt when it comes to true individual freedom.
Communism, socialism, and fascism may have some subtle differences; however, they all share many things in common. They include collectivism over individualism, strict obedience to the wishes of the State over free thought and individualism, promotion of political correctness and a hatred of capitalism and free speech and intolerance of all opinions but their own warped philosophy.
This hardcover book was published in 2007 and this is the first time I was aware of this text until recently when I purchased it for a bargain price on Amazon. I love this book and think it should be required reading for every high school and college student in the United States.
The information in this intellectually stimulating book is seldom taught in most college class rooms, which for the most part are dominated by far left liberal/fascist professors.
The only bright spot I see at this time, is the light of the #WalkAway movement. Sane people realizing just how dangerous the corrupt leftist cabal that now rules the Democrat party has become. Perhaps, since they probably know better than to express publicly their rejection of this cabal due to the threat of violence, they will let the secret ballot decide.
