And one of the patterns Republicans enjoyed in 2016 was having the other side be surprised. And they really enjoyed it Im talking about the kind of joy you can talk about over the course of your lifetime. ... Ill tell you this: if the Republicans pull out the House [win] Im still thinking its unlikely, only because other people say so and I dont know any different its because theres a shitload of Republicans who are saying to themselves, Theyre gonna be surprised. Its predictable from the fact that they have felt that pattern and that payoff before. They see the same thing happening again, and are reminded of it.This matches up very nicely with the many comments here on FR from people, myself included, hoping for another rich post-election harvest of videos of wailing Dems and meltdowns. We don't get that unless we win! VOTE IN NOVEMBER!
I think Republicans ARE going to turn out, in droves.
I’m seeing, in recent months, conservative friends start to speak out more. The Kavanaugh debacle was one where, many finally said, ‘Enough is enough... this is a fight I can take up... I MUST take up”.
That stand is contagious. Once people see a few that are NOT AFRAID to defend our position, others join.
