The Texas Democratic Party asked noncitizens to register to vote, sending out applications to immigrants with the box citizenship already checked “Yes,” according to complaints filed Thursday asking prosecutors to see what laws may have been broken.

The Texas secretary of state’s office said it received complaints from immigrants and from relatives of dead people who got mailings asking them to register.
Spokesman Sam Taylor said it was “a pretty large volume of calls.”

LOL. I knew an illegal who was proud that he voted in the US elections because ‘ the US elections impact the world.’ He worked here illegally on a tourist visa from Ireland. I also knew an aspiring African American (green card holder ‘Soti’ from South Africa) who didn’t vote but would often petition her ‘politician’ with phone calls and emails.

well, if it’s election tampering to post opinion articles on FB, shouldn’t it also be election tampering to send out voter registration forms with citizenship pre-checked? Very misleading and maybe entrapment for those English-as-a-second-language folk being targeted.
There is a huge number of illegals up here in Illinois, especially in the Chicago area. There are towns up here that are pretty close to 100% latino, such as Pilsen and Little Village. Hell, politicians from Mexico come up here to campaign for their political races back in Mexico!
