Rep. Jim Jordon: Sessions on his way out; ‘obvious to me’ Rosenstein is running DoJ
The National Sentinel ^ | 10/17/18 | USA Features

Deep State: Rep. Jim Jordan said during a Fox News interview Tuesday evening that he believes Attorney General Jeff Sessions will soon become an ex-attorney general following the midterm elections.

The Ohio Republican also told host Martha McCallum it’s “obvious” to him that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is actually running the Justice Department, though he doesn’t seem happy about that.

I expected more from Jeff Sessions. Maybe all those years in DC and the “go along, get along” mentality of the Senate softened him. I never expected him to be a firebrand or attack dog but his time at DOJ has been wasted.

Almost everyone would agree that the DOJ is not longer effective in enforcing laws and prosecuting wrong-doing. It’s become a den of political intrigue that in many ways still acts as though Eric Holder is the AG.

This has been the case since RosenWeasel was immaculated.

Sessions not only recused himself from the Russia investigation, he basically recused himself his job!

I hope Trump fires him in the most disrespectful way possible.

Trump seems to like Rosenweasel. In fact, he said he has a “very good relationship” with Rod and that “I’ve gotten to know him and I get along very well with him”.

Trump even let Rod persuade him not to release the FISA docs which have been dumped onto Horowitz, who will never release them before the election.

So here we have Rosenstein clearly plotting a coup against the president and he’s still there. Not only that, he gets a nice ride on Air Force One along with praise from the president. Something is very wrong with this entire picture.

Can’t friken wait till Magoo is gone, for quite a few reasons. Not least of which it might cause certain maroons to finally admit they’ve been duped.

I’m sure Trump has a replacement plan in the works. Pitt bull if (when) we keep the Senate. Backchannels with Grassly and Mitch already in progress.

Here is my prediction ...
GOP increases seats in Senate in Midterms ...
Sessions retires
Mueller Probe ends w/ no findings
New Pit Bull AG appointed & confirmed
New AG goes after McCabe, Ohr, Strozak, Page, etc
End of Trump presidency (2025) he pardons Flynn, Manafort, etc

Is Mueller at the top?

***************

It appears that he is at the nexus of the plot, a key player in place to distract and undermine the president.

You pose an interesting question: Who is calling the shots? Who is the “quarterback” behind all all this and who is pulling strings?

My guess would be that its a team consisting of Obama and his former intelligence apparatus, including the now deposed Comey and McCabe. Hillary is the cheerleader for the team. I don’t think they want her anywhere near the head coach.

I agree with you that Sessions will likely “retire”. I would love to see Trump fire him but he seems oddly reluctant to fire anyone.

If ever anyone deserved to be fired it is Rod Rosenstein. Yet he’s still there, defying the president and the congress. I have to admit, the guy has amazing staying power. He must be holding some really good cards.

Sessions has been a Deep State plant from the day he joined the Trump campaign. He was an insurance policy, of that I have no doubt.

That said, from the perspective of the Deep State he was a very successful plant. Sessions let Rosenstein run the DOJ and he suppressed any efforts to hold anyone in the department or the FBI accountable. In that respect, Session did his “job”. He served his masters well.

Sessions has been AWOL from the biggest scandals in American
History by his own choice.
He will “Retire” after the mid-terms.
He has been a huge disappointment as AG.
I think he was a good Senator, though.
Maybe he will run for his old job again.
