In a sign of how heated the fall campaign has become, two Minnesota Republicans say they were attacked and punched in separate incidents over the weekend.
State Representative Sarah Anderson of Plymouth said she had confronted a man for kicking her campaign sign when he charged at her. First-time candidate Shane Mekeland of Becker said he suffered a concussion after a man punched him in the face at a Benton County restaurant.

Nearly a century ago JRR Tolkien described the Men of the West losing ground as they had few children; whole areas in the world were ceded to lesser men and monsters. This is hardly a new thing- politicians have been beating, shooting, stabbing each other in the US for decades (See, Burr v. Hamilton and Preston Brooks v. Charles Sumner).
The key is, what is St. Cloud gonna look like in 10-20-30 years from now??

I think it was more due to over a million French men being killed in WWI than contraception.
I was tempted to work in “Kristallnacht”, but it hasn’t come to that - yet. At least on a massive physical scale; though on the internet and in the media it’s in full swing.
They lost 1.7 million men in WWI (more than we’ve lost in all of our wars combined) - but they themselves acknowledged that they didn’t breed enough afterwards (they themselves were quoted as saying “not enough babies”). Germany had lost a similar figure, but replaced them better.
