I think it fair to say that just as there are some crooked Republicans running for office, there are some decent Democrats running too.
I have already looked up the ballot for my county for Nov. 9 election and have researched the candidates for each position. There is one where the DEM is the most experienced, most qualified, and has been doing a good job. I will vote for that DEM. Other than that position, Most of my other choices are Republican and in one case an Independent.

I find that very hard to believe. They are all insane communist kooks without a shred of common sense.
I can't see ever voting 'rat. Even if a 'rat seems a decent sort, if push comes to shove, and the 'rats need that one vote to enact gun confiscation or Single Payer "Health Care", you can be sure they'll have that guy's vote.
But I am assuming you never ever vote D at the national level.
Also, experience and being a “good” person doesn’t make one a better choice especially since Abortion is now accepted as primary part of the D party agenda.
Doesn’t matter where this person “personally” stands.
In the end, if he or she rose to higher ranks they would support abortion.
But then, being a Freeper, you should know this already.
To state on here that you are voting dem and then only giving vague reasons why is, honestly, absurd and ridiculous.
It a binary system. Either the D or the R control.
When you vote for ANY D you are voting for Nancy Peolsie/Chuck Schumer to be in control.
Your vote isn't just for the D it also for who has over all control of the Congress, the Senate, the State House, or your local planning board.
You not just voting for the candidate, you voting for everything their party stands for.
By that standard NO Dem is acceptable. They are all part of the party of lies, mindless hate and political violence.
They must ALL be defeated to send the message “Democrats either reform yourself to proper standard of political behavior or be prepared to be rejected by voters at every level.”
This is no longer politics as usual, this is now about sending a message to the Party bosses that poltical lines have been crossed that will not be tolerated.
And how exactly is a person “good” or “decent” when they willfully join the abortion parry?
