A retired history professor from Grinnell College and feminist announced that she wishes that “all men were dead” in a column for the Washington Post over the weekend. Retired history professor Victoria Bissell Brown published a bizarre column in the Washington Post on Friday in which she detailed an outburst she had at her husband that included her wishing for the death of all men.
I yelled at my husband last night. Not pick-up-your-socks yell. Not how-could-you-ignore-that-red-light yell. This was real yelling. This was 30 minutes of from-the-gut yelling. Triggered by a small, thoughtless, dismissive, annoyed, patronizing comment. Really small. A micro-wave that triggered a hurricane. I blew. Hard and fast. And it terrified me. I’m still terrified by what I felt and what I said. I am almost 70 years old. I am a grandmother. Yet in that roiling moment, screaming at my husband as if he represented every clueless male on the planet (and I every angry woman of 2018), I announced that I hate all men and wish all men were dead. If one of my grandchildren yelled something that ridiculous, I’d have to stifle a laugh.
The column, which is entitled “Thanks for not raping us, all you ‘good men.’ But it’s not enough,” reads like a passive-aggressive rant from the type of unhinged ideologue that makes most rational people think twice before self-identifying with the “feminist” label.
Brown topped the insanity of her first paragraph with her second. In it, Brown berates her husband for doing exactly what feminists have repeatedly asking men to do over the past year: listen to women.

She needs professional help. No-sh*t professional, consider commitment to a facility help. I’ve known several people who have “lost it” at one time or another. These are people we never allowed around our kids (one was a family member, another a formerly close friend of my wife) after their breakdowns. I never turned my back to them ever again, never ate anything they brought to a family potluck... When people seriously lose their grip on reality like this woman has it is a genuinely frightening experience.
Well, I am a woman and I didn’t relate to Blasey-Ford because she was a woman who had presumably lived a life and was no longer a teen. The little-girl voice and body language seemed affected. I didn’t buy it. I wanted to protect the male senators because I felt sure that they were more well-meaning than she was and that she would use their kindness against them, which I don’t have a lot of tolerance for.
Am I sick of paying the pink tax? Am I sick of the wage gap?
Sure I am.
Am I sick of Lefties endlessly using women to push agendas that often harm women? Am I sick of cherry-picked narratives that are so over-edited and over-worked that they become incoherent being represented as mainstream female thought?
You bet I am.
Personally, I am watching POTUS, because every single day the man is teaching a master class on how to deal with pretty much every shenanigan that the history professor complains about in her column.
“Dismissive”? Check.
“Mean-spirited, teasing, punching”? Check, check, and check.
“impatient, annoyed, controlling” remarks? Have you watched CNN lately?!
In her case, either the local adoption agency or the local pound!
I actually knew a nice young christian couple a while back that had 2 dogs that they called their KIDS. I really thought that when I heard them referring to them, that they were talking about human children! Until one fine day they carried the dogs with them as they brought them to the church and introduced them as their children!
On top of everything else, they said that they had NO interest in having human children.
Wow. Seems to be a lot of crappy women out there.

She should just cash herself in if she’s that miserable because she has to co-exist with men.

Are all female professors whack jobs? There was the other one from Georgetown University who wanted to feed men’s bodies to swine as well. I don’t see how anyone can lead a happy life when filled with such visceral hate.
I am sure all the men in her classes got the appropriate grades (rolling eyes).
Amazing the way that WaPo is totally passive and uninvolved in the publishing of work in their own paper. SHE published it, not WaPo. Hmmmm.
If I were her husband I would have already posted the divorce papers.
