Canadian cyclist Rachel McKinnon is calling out transphobic bigots on Twitter after she reportedly became the first trans woman to ever win gold at the UCI Masters Track Cycling World Championships in Los Angeles.

We cannot have a woman legally recognized as a trans woman in society, she told USA Today in January, and not be recognized that way in sports.
Focusing on performance advantage is largely irrelevant because this is a rights issue. We shouldnt be worried about trans people taking over the Olympics. We should be worried about their fairness and human rights instead.

I don’t mind women’s sports being held. I was a big fan of the girls’ basketball team during my senior year in high school. However, I don’t believe they should be effectively mandated for all federally funded institutions, per Title Whatsherface.
Well, as I understand it, Vera De Milo was supposed to be a mockery of a biological “cis” woman bodybuilder, but who knows? Maybe it was meant to be prophecy!
If wanting scientific fairness in sports makes me a bigot, fine.
