She’s 1/512 Cherokee and doesn’t get a “per capita” check from the casinos. I know more white boys from Oklahoma who have more “Cherokee” blood than she’s got.

FROM ZERO HEDGE:

Update: Just hours after Elizabeth Warren waved her newly minted credentials as a Native American, and demanded Trump pay up on his offer, The Globe issued a 'correction' that might just steal the jam out of her exuberant donut:

Correction: Due to a math error, a story about Elizabeth Warren misstated the ancestry percentage of a potential 10th generation relative. It should be 1/1,024.

As The Globe sheepishly admits...

"The inherent imprecision of the six-page DNA analysis could provide fodder for Warren’s critics."

“great-great-great-grandmother”

I thought it was her grandmother who had to sneak away to get married because of being indian.

Anyone have a link to her original story?

“test that provides “strong evidence’’ she had a Native American in her family tree dating back 6 to 10 generations”

LOL. HaHaHaHa.

.09 to 1.5% is not enough to claim status legally. The lowest acceptable for scholarships is 6.25% (1/16)

Results are MAY HAVE and either way 1/1,024 is like nothing when the margin of error is around 1/256. Cherokee say 1/32 or more to qualify. AND HER TEST AND ANALYSIS WAS DONE BY A FRIEND. This is a fail, even her friend couldn’t give her more. So much for President Trump to troll!

6 generation back would be a little over 1.5%. Not much of a claim there.

10 generations ago? That makes her one tenth of one percent Indian (1/2 multiplied by itself 10 times). That’s not even close to what it takes to qualify for a job at the nearest Chief Rolling Dice casino, which requires either 25 or 12.5% Indian ancestry.

It should be 1/1,024

I think that about 99.99% of people born in the U.S. can make that kind of ancestry claim, and most can claim more.

I'm certain that I have DNA from "native" Americans that dates back to perhaps my grandmother, but, I never even mention it (except now).

Where's are reparations payments?
