Holy $&#%! **Khaled Saffuri** is the source for these Jamal Khashoggi stories? Khaled Saffuri, longtime aide to US al-Qaeda fundraiser Abdurahman Alamoudi (currently in federal prison) and friend of convicted/deported Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Sami al-Arian??

“His recurring plea to bin Salman in his columns was to embrace not western-style democracy, but the rise of political Islam which the Arab Spring had inadvertently given rise to.”

“Inadvertently,” he says. Not by design? Hmm.

I hope they are not trying to get us to like murder and chopping up bodies. On the other hand, we should not like Turkey or Iran either. The middle east has a lot of barbarians. Its like when Roy’s Tiger ate him. Its what tigers do. And when barbarians act barbarous what can we say, its what barbarians do.

Is this great reforming prince, with aims the West applauds, using brutal methods to dispose of his enemies?

I have news for the world. The Saudis are far from the first to assassinate enemies.

According to the New York Times, among the assassination team was the kingdom’s top forensic expert, who brought a bone saw to dismember Khashoggi’s body.

Gasp. Not the new york slimes. Who could doubt what they say????

When Trump was talking about sh**-hole countries, I would include the Middle East.

I wonder if it would bother any of the Democrat leaders if Leftists here started kidnapping, torturing, killing, and dismembering conservatives.

From what I can tell, the Democrat rank-and-file would be against it (other than the snowflakes), and many Democrat leaders would also be against it...but then there are other leaders who I’m not so sure about, to say the least.

This matters because, although bin Salman has rejected Wahhabism — to the delight of the West — he continues to view the Muslim Brotherhood as the main threat most likely to derail his vision for a new Saudi Arabia.

If Salman has rejected Wahhabism he is certainly an assignation target like Anwar Sadat.
We should be leery of diving into this mess where the MB and the Saudis are both enemies of us Kafirs. -Tom

Salman is a Saud. Sauds are members of a vanishing species, major arab royalty. They behave as arabs and as autocratic royalty. We can either use them or we can disdain them but we cannot change them. If we get virtuous and shun them we will pay a large price in the Middle East and not influence their methods and characteristics one whit. If we get the Sauds replaced it is the nature of Arabs that the replacement will be less virtuous than the Sauds and much less useful to us.

I read yesterday, that Turkey says it has proof, because his Iwristwatch recorded the whole thing, and ended up on his iPhone, which he had left in his girlfriend’s possession, while she was outside waiting for him in the car.

You can’t buy advertising like this!

No doubt Saudi dissident mouths are snapping shut all around the world.

Many who saw the Muslim Brotherhood as a career stepping stone, are now looking for better options.

I knew there was more to the story than we were hearing on the driveby nets.

Trump has an excellent relationship with Mohammad ben Salman,MBS,as he is known as. IF this guy khashoggi was taken out there were more than good reasons to do so. The Saudis now take the lead in the mid east and elsewhere using weapons designed by the Israelis. We are now making more progress against countries like Iran,Syria, Iraq and you name it than ever before. In the past we had infidels,us,killing muslims. That was never going to work and it never did.

Today muslims through the Saudis are taking out other terrorists who are also supposed muslims,CIA or not. This works and always will.

We offer assistance.Trump and ben Salman have created a fighting force second to none in the mid east. Little will get in the way of that nor should it.

...he joined the Muslim Brotherhood...

The MB is the terrorist Muslim faction that Obama endorsed to take over Egypt, Libya, Syria and probably the world if that had gone as he hoped.

Just because Egypt rejected the MB after Obama helped them briefly take over there, and Libya turned into a mess... and Syria didn't work out either... it doesn't mean the MB doesn't still have lots of support from powerful creeps, especially in the deep state right here in the US.

The coordinated chorus of "OMG... punish S.A." from our media and deep state voices makes me suspicious. If the guy was working for MB, S.A. probably did the world a favor by taking him out.
