This report exposes Tennessee staffers from Phil Bredesen’s U.S. Senate campaign revealing his willingness to court moderate voters through deceit. This was especially evidenced by Bredesen’s recent statement suggesting he would, if he was already in the Senate, vote to confirm now Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

This is one race the Democrats really need to lose. The old “moderate Democrat” line they used in the South for three decades is about done. It’s how Al Gore made his career. Bredesen losing after spending a ton of money would be really sweet.
I would imagine Bredesen is not spending Tennessee money but a lot of Hollywood and New York money. Just like Jones in Alabama, he would represent the interests of those places and their donors far more in the Senate than he would his home state.
I live in TN and am disgusted by the number of conservatives who love Bredesen. I drive to work every day through a small town and the Bredesen yard signs are everywhere. The state is red, but we sent RINOs Corker and Alexander to D.C...smh

Looks like my $100 contribution to Blackburn is paying off. Bresden sounds too much like Al Gore, hiding their real selves underneath a moderate facade.
She should be able to cut some great ads with those videos. It really shouldn’t be a surprise but I guess there are a lot of people who don’t follow politics and aren’t hip to the game.

Maybe but Manchin’s vote was almost as important as Collin’s. If we keep the Senate I expect Manchin to flip. I remember the last State of the Union when Joe stood up and applauded for something no one could disagree with the other Rats sat there like idiots and gave Joe the stink eye.
So very true. Tennessee can do a lot better. Bredesen was a decent enough governor because he was constrained by a legislature that was in GOP hands. He had to govern from the middle. In Washington he will do whatever Schumer tells him to, which is why he is going to great lengths to lie about how he doesn’t support Chuck Schumer.
Tennessee can do a lot better than Alexander and Cucker. Marsha would be a small step in the right direction. When Alexander steps down, get ready for Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke to try the Bredesen Moderate Democrat ploy.
