Women who supported the confirmation of Supreme CourtJustice Brett M. Kavanaugh have been reamed on the left as brainwashed, shameful, privilege-defending gender traitors, and it’s starting to annoy them.
Anti-Kavanaugh activists saved their most virulent post-confirmation screeds for women who refused to condemn Justice Kavanaugh — especially the white ones — another indication of the resistance’s growing irritation with centrist and conservative women putting due process over feminist solidarity.
“I find the idea that ‘as a woman’ I must think a certain way extremely patronizing,” said Allie Stuckey, host of CRTV’s “Relatable.” “If these so-called feminists really believed in female empowerment, they’d be encouraging women to think with their brains rather than their anatomy.”
Rants against “white women,” “stupid Stepford wives,” “gender traitors,” and “brainwashed women” erupted on social media after the confirmation, as well as references to the 53 percent, the oft-cited percentage of white U.S. women who voted for President Trump.
To Ms. Stuckey, the barrage looks a lot like bullying. “People don’t like to be bullied for their beliefs by people who claim that our gender, socioeconomic status, race, etc., must determine our opinions,” she said.
The intragender tangling hit the mainstream with a weekend op-ed in the New York Times by public-relations consultant Alexis Grenell headlined, “White Women, Come Get Your People,” which unloaded on Justice Kavanaugh’s female supporters.
“These women are gender traitors, to borrow a term from the dystopian TV series ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’” said Ms. Grenell in the article. “They’ve made standing by the patriarchy a full-time job.”
The broadside drew a mix of disbelief, outrage and chortling on the right. “I always love being a traitor to my gender,” quipped right-of-center activist Laura Carno, who heads I Am Created Equal.

You can’t be a “traitor” unless you have a duty of loyalty. I have no duty of loyalty to women as a class.
Attractive women are always hated by old lesbian hags.
Plenty of the women promoting this garbage are what men call “attractive women,” if all they have to go on is a picture. Some of them are actresses known for their naked pulchritude. Of course, when men disagree with them politically, the women gain a few decades in age, add 50 lbs., and suddenly become “lesbians.”
It’s really lame.

No, we’re not. On the other hand, I think it’s important to note that leftists don’t really believe in a duty to support “women” as a class. They believe only in a duty to support progressive political goals. The group identity thing is a smokescreen.

There never was going to be a "BLUE WAVE"; that was just a big fat LIE/propaganda. But the whole Kavanaugh mes has disgusted and yes, woken up, people of all ethic backgrounds, races, religions, and political parties.
Agreed. If Alyssa Milano and Emily Ratajkowski were on our side then you know FR would be plastered with 4K jpgs of them in bathing suits or less.
I’m a fan of female beauty, but my dating life in CA tells me painfully how uncorrelated hotness and common sense are.

I agree. Our daughter has two sons, the youngest is 18.
She was over the other day and was livid talking about the way Dems and activists treated Justice Kavanaugh.
She brought up how all men are likely to be vulnerable; sons, husbands, fathers, etc. if that character assassination on just the word of one person and no evidence isn’t stopped.
I was proud of her, she’s normally a quiet well mannered person and not prone to get into political rants.

Supporting phony rape claims from thirty-some years ago with zero evidence is what sets women back. It detracts from REAL crimes against women. But they don’t much care about those, do they?
I have a coworker....good guy in his late 20’s who voted for Hillary. He now says that was a mistake and he realizes “there is no room for him in the Democratic Party” (since he is a white male). He’s going to vote straight ticket Republican in the next several elections he’s so disgusted by the Democrats and their obvious hatred of White people in general and White Men in particular.
This one is going to do her part.
NOBODY is going to speak for me nor condemn me for not following the crowd.
Liberal women and liberal men opposed Kavanaugh.
Conservative women and conservative men supported Kavanaugh.
This is liberals vs conservatives, not women vs men.
