The difference is that hurricanes hit Florida all the time. They are better prepared and the state has better measures in place to deal with them.
So the optics are really different because the population reacts differently. If you live in a typhoon/hurricane prone area they are not as big a deal. you get used to them.
Just my take on it.
Erie PA and Florida have about 1300-1500 miles of land, no chance he cancels this one in Erie.

Exactly. It’s also one reason I take months off from social media. Right leaning sites,Limbaugh,Hannity etc spend half their time on democrats smearing republicans. I don’t need it. Don’t want the negativity in my life

Haven’t seen any. Everyone looks pretty normal.
Looks like as many people outside as there are inside. Great crowd.
The guy speaking now is pretty awesome, I have to admit. Usually, I wait for the local politicians to finish and Trump to start speaking again. :-)
