Buy Amazon stock.
It’s a steal at 3000000000x earnings
BABA’s P/E is 30.
But I learned long ago don’t expect the markets to make sense.
Goodbye Sears.

I haven’t been in one of their stores in over 10 years and I wasn’t too impressed then.

It is sad. But anyone with a half a brain could see it coming. Two Christmases ago, I bought my son a Craftsman toolbox with Craftsman tools. It was apparent that the end was near.

Miss their Christmas wish books that I loved as a kid!! Too slow to adapt to e-Commerce!
To: Lurkinanloomin
They are reaping what they sowed. I have no pity on them whatsover, and this is coming from someone who didn’t ow them anything.
To: Lurkinanloomin
Their old school hand tools were good, too.

The important question to ask is What happens to Craftsman? I’ve always liked Craftsman tools.

Did you wear Sears Toughskins as a kid——with the reinforced knees?
They were VERY popular in my neighborhood.
GO SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sears sold the Craftsman name to Stanley Black & Decker last year.
That’s one of the reasons you now see them sold in Lowes stores.

In my humble opinion, the demise of Sears speaks volumes about why you shouldn't trust your business to those whose qualifications are essentially their college education in ‘business’. Sears was well positioned to compete with Amazon and others who targeted online sales. With their distribution network, history/consumer credibility, and a bricks and mortar component to allow people to actually go and see what they were buying - if they wanted to, they were way better positioned than Amazon. But they blew it. I truly believe that if the general Sears consumer had been surveyed regarding what to do moving forward, they would have identified the proper path to solvency and growth. It's a shame.

It’s funny I feel like an old man but I would get clothes from their men’s department all the time, especially flannels and blank T-shirts. They were so much cheaper and actually decent. Used the website to do online ordering as well
