Does big tech have a political bias problem? Companies like Facebook and Google have sworn up and down that theyre apolitical but a growing amount of evidence is raising hard questions about the corporate culture within these brands.
On Saturday, one of Googles top people single-handedly brought those questions to the surface again. After Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed as the next Supreme Court justice, the tech companys design lead went on a hateful rant on Twitter.
You are finished, @GOP, posted Dave Hogue, whose bio states that he holds a design lead position at Google. You polished the final nail for your own coffins.
FK. YOU. ALL. TO. HELL, the unhinged Google leader continued, according to screenshots of his angry tweets captured by Jim Hoft.
He didnt stop there. Hogue went even darker, calling Republicans evil and wishing conservatives to be burned.
I hope the last images burned into your slimy, evil, treasonous retinas are millions of women laughing and clapping and celebrating as your souls descend into the flames, he posted.

A Design Lead isn’t exactly that far up the food chain.
He may be a good designer but this tweet sounds like it came from a lower level intelligence strata.
What a stupid, mean little man.
You have to see it from his point of view.
People who were already opposed to Kavanaugh when the Ford story broke believe that the allegations are true. As far as I can tell, this belief has nothing to do with facts or evidence, but results from the fact that they need it to be true to achieve an unrelated political end.
The peculiar thing is that this stated belief does not appear to be a cynical ploy, something to say in order to get what he wants. It appears that he really, really believes this, and he is not alone.
So, if he believes this story is absolutely true, and perhaps some of the other more outrageous stories as well, his fervent opposition appears to be more rational.
That explains why goog changes search results to favor America-hating leftists and/or moozlims.
Yep. It used to be relatively simple to manipulate Google searches to escape steering to Leftist results. It’s become more difficult with each passing week.
LexisNexis is becoming essential.
I don’t think all tech people are rabid libtards but most are wired differently and feminized. The tech sector is one big cult of group think. It is essentially impossible to opine outside the liberal flatulence. A dissenting social media post or internal email will lead to crucifixion.
Google delenda est!
It is in gross violation of both FEC rules and of the Sherman Antitrust Act. Break it up into 20 different companies - surely at least a few of them will simply rank websites based on traffic, not on their biased opinion of what we should be viewing.
Google delenda est!
“This is a case that should be studied by social scientists.”
Has Google ever been anything but “Evil?”
No, actually, that’s not true. Soros is Sauron...and Google is his eye.
Ah, the foundation of liberalism is hatred.
I’m not amazed that a Leftist confuses the judgments men that just happen to agree with them as being right and good, that’s hardly unusual for mankind. I’m not surprised that a Leftist can be full of anger and rage towards those that disagree with them because it’s becoming sadly commonplace. I’m not surprised that Leftists’ sense of civility is so eroded as they are for they have put their hopes in government, under their control that is, and in the end every defeat can be traumatic.
Frankly, I’m just not surprised.
Evan Sayet has advanced the proposition that what drives the modern Left is the thought that what has failed in the past and why there has been so much suffering is that people were trying to be right and good and therefore the solution is to stop judging, to imagine all the things the purple song of the same name called for. They are invested on trying to spit out the apple.
But it doesn’t work that way. What you get when you stop trying to be right isn’t okay, it isn’t nice, and it isn’t good. It’s ironically enough often mealy mouthed conformity to whatever seems to be happening right now, to the everpresent demands of fashion ... just so long as what is fashionable moral isn’t what has been prevalent in society.
And so the tolerant unjudging people can become, in the inversion of civilization, the most intolerant, especially if the unfashonable morality they’ve put behind them seems to rear its head. We are threatening their fantasy world and threatening to haul them back towards something they are desperate to escape.
Google = Googlelag
There’s a huge difference between warning people of Hell because they are not right with God and cheering for people to be thrown therein.
It’s the difference between trying to stand in their way and pointing out the path.
By the standard you judge you will be judged comes to mind.
He MUST be GAY.....I would be shocked if he wasn’t.
Doesn’t have the right temperment...
Well, they seem to think that the people who would be gleeful about others’ damnation would not be damned themselves, so they are still unclear on the concept.
