Bill and Hillary Clinton are going on a stadium tour
TheWeek ^ | 10-08-18 | Kathryn Krawczyk

The Clintons are headlining their own stadium tour. And before you ask, saxophones are not involved.

Following in the footsteps of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, the political power couple will take "An Evening with President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton" to 13 cities starting later this year. The duo will share "stories and inspiring anecdotes that shaped their historic careers in public service" throughout the tour, detailing "how they shaped our world today and where we go from here," promoter Live Nation announced Monday.

JUST ANNOUNCED: An Evening with President @BillClinton and former Secretary of State @HillaryClinton is coming to a city near you!

— Live Nation (@LiveNation) October 8, 2018

The Clintons will visit four North American cities this year, starting in Las Vegas, moving onto Toronto and Montreal, and rounding off December in Texas. Then, they'll hit another nine cities in 2019, including stops in New York and Inglewood, California, per The Associated Press. Tickets have been spotted as cheap as $70 at some venues and as expensive at $699 in others, CNN says.

Given the Clintons' long careers and Live Nation's vague announcement, it's not clear exactly what topics will be on the table at each tour stop, or if their discussions will change with the news cycle. Unfortunately for Democrats, the couple's sudden return to the spotlight may dredge up Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign loss as her party aims for a comeback in 2018's midterms, AP suggests. But it's worth noting the Clintons' California stop will follow a Fleetwood Mac appearance at the same venue, and we all know how well that worked for Bill Clinton 25 years ago. —Kathryn Krawczyk

Regardless of the ticket costs there will be packed crowds o paid attendees.

The gigs are scheduled to stretch into 2019 and the “perceived” popularity will be cited as the reason for The beast to run for President again.

Run Hillary, run!

Brian Kilmeade and Susan Collins get screamed at by paid lunatics, and so I guess Bill and Hillary are going to show us all how to calm the waters with civil discourse and honest monologues, not.

No one deserves more of the insane sputtering red rage that should be directed at a rapist and his female enabler than Bill and Hill, but are there any among the unhinged who “get” that? Is the rage “real” or just as phony and fraudulent as all the rest of the Democrat worldview?

Frankly, I think Bill and Hill should rethink placing themselves in random jeopardy by actually appearing in a scheduled public venue, but their arrogance seems to cloud their judgment, such as it is.

I hope Juanita Broderick will be in attendance at at least one of these “rallies”.

They just cannot tolerate President Trump’s popularity and his awesome rallies. Envy will get you nowhere, vile ones.

Well, maybe they should not have engaged such large auditoriums to begin with.

High School homerooms would have been large enough.

It will be most amusing to post pix of their empty seats, compared to Trump’s massive overflows in YUGE venues.

For $50.00 you can have a Cardboard Cutout of yourself made that will travel with Bill & Hillary so they can have an audience

Any bets on how much of given stadium they could fill?

If it were just Hillary, the end-zone section might look sparse. With Bill…I don’t think he’s the draw he once was. But he could fill an end-zone by himself.

I wonder if they’ll have to bus in crowds to make it look like they’re filling them up.

If they added Bernie and the Obamas to the line-up, they might get some draws. If only for the chance of a spontaneous fireworks show!

There is no Fleetwood Mac without Lindsey Buckingham.

I think you meant to say.

There is no Fleetwood Mac without "Peter Green."
