As media outlets accused the president of spreading a conspiracy about George Soros paying protesters, one protester admitted on MSNBC that she works for a Soros-funded activist group.
President Donald Trump slammed protesters opposed to Supreme Court justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh on Friday, accusing the women who confronted Republican Sen. Jeff Flake of being paid by billionaire liberal activist George Soros. (RELATED: Trump Warns Senators Not To Scare From Soros-Backed Anti-Kavanaugh Activists)
The Daily Beast, Think Progress, and others accused Trump of peddling a conspiracy and expressed disbelief that the anti-Kavanaugh protesters might have been paid by Soros.
One of the two protesters who confronted Flake in the elevator is Ana Maria Archila, an executive director of the Center for Popular Democracy (CPD). The other protester, Maria Gallagher, is an activist with the group. The CPD is indeed heavily funded by George Soros through the Open Society Foundation.
The Center for Popular Democracy's homepage features an image of Archila and Gallagher yelling at Flake and urges supporters to "join" Archila.

During an interview on MSNBC Friday, Archila confirmed that she works for CPD and did not deny Trump's characterization of her efforts.

"Are you a paid professional?" MSNBC anchor Hallie Jackson asked Archila.
"I work for a community organization, I work for a network of community organizations," Archila said, adding that it is her "job" to organize people into action.
"If the president wants to know whether I work for a social justice organization, the answer is yes. And I've worked for a social justice organization since I was 23. That's not news," she asserted.
The Daily Caller News Foundation also reported several weeks ago that Soros-backed activists were giving cash to anti-Kavanaugh protesters who were getting arrested at the judges confirmation hearings. (RELATED: Soros-Backed Activists Slip Cash To Anti-Kavanaugh Protesters Before Arrests)
"Left-wing groups funded by George Soros and other major Democratic donors hand out cash to protesters arrested for disrupting Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation hearings, the activists revealed Monday night," TheDCNF reported.
Tell us you're not serious ?!
< 10% would be my guess.
Isn’t she illegal? Er, I mean “undocumented”? If so, throw her out now! How dare she meddle with our politics being illegal!
"A person charged with aiding and abetting or accessory is usually not present when the crime itself is committed, but he or she has knowledge of the crime before or after the fact, and may assist in its commission through advice, actions, or financial support. Depending on the degree of involvement, the offender's participation in the crime may rise to the level of conspiracy."
There should be some prosecutions for accessory before the fact, and possibly conspiracy.
Amen!
Look at them. Their mother had to tie a pork chop around their neck to get the dog to play with them.
Someone needs to get this article/info to FoxNews’ Neil Cavuto, stat!!
He cut off one of his guests, today, who stated that these protesters are paid for by Soros.
Neil was having NONE of that!! He said ‘We don’t know for a fact that they’re paid for by Soros’.
She also tried to explain how the Tea Party protesters were grassroots and yet met with violence, by the left. Again...Cavuto said....that things like this have been happening since Adam and Eve.
Fox really MUST get over their “well, both sides do it” BS.
It is beyond sickening and UNTRUE!!
Damn, my bad. I meant to say 90%+ ARE NOT survivors of sexual abuse.
Agreed....oh, and like you, I was a frisky lad — accidentally.
Does she also admit it was staged? No security and the door didn’t try to close.
I thought Trump was going to do away with 501c3 tax exemptions. That would make a HUGE difference. (Also, bye bye megachurches, hello actual shepherds with a flock).
Throw this SOB out of OUR country. I saw Dachau in 57 and those damn steel furnaces in brick still bother me. This Soros ass turned in fellow Jews for cash plus what he could steal. My father was in the 42nd Infantry when they freed the few malnourished Jews left. Soros deserves what every Nazi got at Nurnberg. A damn noose around his punk neck plus all his cash/assets needs to go to the victims- not demonstrators. So many American GI’s died while this puke made MONEY. I’d gladly hang him.
BS.
So was she ever sexually assaulted as she stated to Senator Flake?
********************
This is my question as well. Not sure which one claimed to have been a sexual assault victim in her emotional rant to Flake in the elevator, but now that their names are known it ought to only take a short bit of work to find out if the one who made the claim has any police filings or criminal complaints made against another person by her in her past. Or ask her who?/when?/where?/how?, you know, like a real reporter working on a real story would.
The Washington Post has an article denying that the protesters were paid, which I take as iron-clad confirmation that they were.
“The Washington Post has an article denying that the protesters were paid, ...”
I saw this, too. A commenter took the Post to task, noting that its denial relied on an internal accounting “distinction without a difference.”
