When I hear “Condeleeza Rice” I think of like a cheese risotto or something.

This apropos of nothing but I felt compelled to look up what he name “Kwame” means (because of Kwame Raoul).

It means “Born on a Saturday” in “Aran”, a west African language. Raoul was born on a Wednesday, his name should be “Kwanku”.

“Kofi” means “born on a Friday” and the late UN Boss Kofi Annan was indeed born on a Friday.

Raoul’s parents were obviously ignorant.

Per Wikipedia, he was born in Chicago to Haitian immigrant parents. I guess they were trying to give him a faux "African" name, and failed miserably.

I'm pretty sure his name is the reason he was tapped to succeed "Barack Obama" in the Illinois Senate though, so there's that.
