It's a practice from the "old country" that I'm glad we keep up with. It's a labor of love that I'm particularly glad some of you are keeping alive. If it weren't a 4 hour drive to yall's kitchen, I'd try to watch and learn. I'm sadly lacking on hands-on experience in this, all I know is the family lore and book science. Book learnin' ain't worth bull squat.
I did enjoy both your endeavors. Very few can get results like that even after multiple efforts. Believe me, I've spit out quite a few.

IIRC the mom took made it home with your tea. Us gals divided up leftovers and tried to leave plenty for the Windflier family to eat and drink in the fridge but the tea was gone.
