According to an on-air report by CNN, the FBI report on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is at least 1,000 pages long.
Phil Mattingly, CNNs congressional correspondent, said on Thursday that the FBIs report was incredibly lengthy and that they spent a significant amount of time interviewing Kavanaughs high school friend Mark Judge.
As a couple of people have noted, the report is, were told, more than 1,000 pages long, Mattingly reported. One of the key issues for Senators Flake and Collins has been an interview with Mark Judge.
That is one of the primary reasons this FBI investigation was launched in the first place, he explained. We are told that interview occurred and that it was three hours long.
Several Senate Democrats are claiming that the investigation was not comprehensive, including Hawaii Sen. Masie Hirono, who called it a farce.
We know of so many people, which I think you reported yourself, that a lot of people would like to have been interviewed by the FBI but have not been contacted, Hirono told MSNBCs Rachel Maddow. Even with a short time frame, I was under the expectation, I certainly had the expectation that the FBI would provide the resources necessary to do a complete job, so that its not some kind of a farce investigation.
On Monday, President Donald Trump said he wanted the FBI to be able to interview whoever it wanted for the investigation.
That is correct, the Republican presser confirmed that all reports make up over 1000 pages
More than likely, the 1000 page figure includes transcripts of Interviews, supporting documents, and other evidence. All that stuff could easily be 1000 pages.
The actual reports would be only a small part of the total.
Agreed
I read that 950 pages deal exclusively with ice cubes

You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey’s uh, ice-kabobs, Ive creole, ice gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There’s pineapple ice, lemon ice, coconut ice, pepper ice, ice soup, ice stew, ice salad, ice and potatoes, ice burger, ice sandwich. That- that’s about it.
If it took a 1000 pages, obviously...Kavanaugh is guilty.
One of the top ten best things about Trump is that he publicly and strongly pounds CNN for what it is - fake biased news.
Could someone explain why this FBI report is secret? It obviously has nothing to do with national security. I think if the public could hear the testimony and accusations, they should also be allowed to view the report that investigates the integrity of what we already have seen. Why the secrecy?
I’d be willing to be there is an executive summary page or two.
From what Ive heard on the news, the report consists of interviews with those who Ford suggested have first-hand personal knowledge of the incident from the time it supposedly occurred, or who might have heard of it at the time. Schumer, Feinstein, and Fords counsel complain that the investigation is incomplete because the FBI didnt interview her husband, the polygraph examiner, and others who cannot speak either about what happened or the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident from their own knowledge. The attorneys, at least, should know better. The FBI did a professional job in excluding those people. None of their testimony would be in anyway relevant to the question of whether the assault took place or not, and I doubt that any of them would be allowed to testify if this were a trial.
The report is secret for probably at least two reasons. First, the people interviewed are entitled to their own privacy. Second, if privacy were promised to those interviewed, they would be less guarded and more candid, not having to fear that whatever they said would would wind up attributed them on the front page of the NYT, or get back to Ford or Kavanaugh.
Sorry to be negative, but that Hirono woman needs a trip on the Loretta Fuddy float plane.
999 pages were instructions on drinking games...
Hey Democrats - He's going to destroy your world from the SUPREME COURT!
CNN already received their copy?
The reason its private is because it implicates Senators, and most of the Senators know something was cooked, but not specifically how.
Now they all know. The extra week didn’t matter. The FBI started investigating the day after Feinstein leaked it to the press.
Will they demand a delay of the vote to be able to “read” the report?
VOTE tomorrow!
“Several Senate Democrats are claiming that the investigation was not comprehensive”
The Senators were aware the investigation was being ordered as ‘narrow in scope’.
I can confirm the FBI has NOT interviewed me. I went to school around the same time as Kavanaugh (a few years ahead of him) and only a few states away.
So the investigation is not complete. If any of you are able to trap Flake in an elevator, please tell him that he cannot in good conscience vote YES. I think he’s hard of hearing so make sure you scream - it’s more effective but an unpleasant smell may come from his diaper so keep the elevator doors open. /sarc
This is Feinstein just after she read the new Kavanaugh report. Something went very, very wrong......
😭 SALTY TEARS 😭 [CLEVELAND REMIX]PATHETIC!
Yeah right since CNN has seen it. /s
