Could someone explain why this FBI report is secret? It obviously has nothing to do with national security. I think if the public could hear the testimony and accusations, they should also be allowed to view the report that investigates the integrity of what we already have seen. Why the secrecy?

The report is secret for probably at least two reasons. First, the people interviewed are entitled to their own privacy. Second, if privacy were promised to those interviewed, they would be less guarded and more candid, not having to fear that whatever they said would would wind up attributed them on the front page of the NYT, or get back to Ford or Kavanaugh.

It contains a lot of raw and private information. Going forward people have to know if they give information on a candidate it will be private.

I think the FBI should do a sipummary though. Mark Judge, PJ, and all the others can release information if they want
