9/10. I missed “Gargoyles.” The descriptions didn’t do much for me, but the titles rang a bell.
I crave Braum’s peppermint ice cream...year round! There’s one near my FRiend’s house in the D/FW area and I intend to hit it when I’m there. :)
Good for you on the test! That’s good!
Not so good on the rainy weather...although I’d LOVE it! LOL! But then, I don’t ride a motorcycle or have to walk a large dog. :)
Sounds good.
IIRC they have a cheesecake ice cream. I like to go for the cone with a scoop of that and one of chocolate with almonds or pecans (can’t remember which it is).
My chocolate shake (large) was soooo big I didn’t have room for anything else after the chicken strips and fries. I gave 1/3 of the shake away and still had to work to finish it.
I did awful. LOL Your 9/10 is great!
Yep...The motorcycle and The large Dog kind of create a charm deficit on non-stop rain.
Thank you! Thanks for posting the thread.
Howdy, LUV.
It was pure luck that I got that many right since I didn’t have a TV through a lot of the ‘70s. But I’d heard of some of the movies and made lucky guesses. LOL
It was a good day and not too horrible heat-wise. The thermostat is supposed to crank up tomorrow, though, unless the forecast has changed since yesterday.
Had a good time with the “R” Women’s Group at our booth at the county fair this evening. It WAS going to be set up for this one evening but now they’re going to keep it up til the weekend. I can’t work it tomorrow but plan to be there Thurs.
Just finished wolfing down supper and am ready to see how others did with the quiz. :-)
bring yer guitars kids, and yer smiles
I have seen Chrissy Hynde many times and Babs Never
Son came over for dinner tonight and hanging out, he just left and I'm heading to bed for my early, easy work day tomorrow, hope your day was AOK!
You’re welcome! I truly enjoy doing them! :)
Glad today wasn’t awful since you were having to be outdoors.
It’s great that y’all will keep your booth all weekend. Need all those votes! Did you talk to anyone that went to the rally there the other night. I watched it on RSBN and the crowd was HUGE!
Howdy, PRO!
Sounds like you had a fun evening. Bet y’all were busy ‘saving the world’ again. :-)
It was a fun evening here. The Republican Women’s Group had a booth set up at the county fair and we chatted with a lot of fun folks who stopped by. I’ll work it again Thurs. evening.
Hope nothing crops up to cause snags in getting your work done tomorrow and the rest of the week. I gather you got that guy straightened out.
I was glad it wasn’t really hot too! I was almost uncomfortable at first because I wore my museum t-shirt, and it’s a fairly heavy fabric. It’ll be something sleeveless Thurs. evening though! Gonna be a roaster.
The PLAN is to keep it open but it’ll depend on getting others to show up to help out. Too many in our group are old enough they have trouble seeing to drive after dark and they never help out with this stuff.
No one we talked to went to the rally yesterday. It’s a pretty long haul from here to Johnson City.
I didn’t see it ‘live’ but did watch it online later.
Ya know. I’m just flat tired of summer! LOL! Hope it is not as bad on Thursday so you can be comfy. Are there fans in the tent/booth?
I had to Google it. Kolchak:Night Stalker lasted all of 20 episodes. 1 season!
I remember it well though - spooky, didn’t solve the mystery, left you guessing.
LOL! We’re tired of summer too. I’m afraid we’re going to end up going from summer to winter with no fall weather in between. Wouldn’t be the first time.
We’re going to be up close to 90 the rest of the week, and muggy. We do have fans but didn’t have any at the tent this evening. I imagine they’ll be there the rest of the week though!
All set for your road trip? You’re leaving tomorrow, aren’t you?
I’ll go for it. :-)
