"If they dont get Kavanaugh through, I wouldnt bother showing up for work on November 7th," David Bozell, president of the conservative group ForAmerica, told the Washington Examiner. "Most of them will be out of jobs, because of losing on November the 6th,"..."Failure to confirm Kavanaugh would be seen by a substantial portion of the Republican base as a betrayal of the party's promise to appoint strong, proven conservatives to the Supreme Court, and would certainly hurt turnout among those voters in November's midterms," said Michael Steel, a managing director at Hamilton Place Strategies...Trump is standing by Kavanaugh and insists he is not considering a replacement for the nominee. He told reporters Saturday that he doesn't "need a backup plan."

Conservatives are already incensed as it is. Borking Kavanaugh would make them angry as hell. Poor analysis.
Politicians and big shot constituents don’t need to allow any borking. They have plenty of influence for the confirmation, and we all know that.
What happening to Kavanaugh only shows me the need to get out and vote and it sure won’t be for a Democrat. We need to replace RINOs like Flake and the other two. This was never going to be about a single election cycle.
Judge Kavanaugh will be confirmed. The consequences of not getting it done should be unthinkable for the political/regulator class.
Sure, if we don’t get our way, we will just hand it all over to the Democrats. Delusional!
Staying home because youre pissed at the GOP is understandable, but staying home ensures a Democrat takeover of one or both chambers of Congress. Excuse me if I put my principled conservatism aside and vote for a straight red slate of GOP candidates and incumbents, some of whom are RINO globalists. Sadly, in many cases this will be a lesser of two evils choice for many of us, but the thought of Plastic Face Pelosi as the Speaker of the House and Schmucky Schumer as the Majority Leader of the Senate is too gruesome to contemplate! The Democrats in charge would be MASA (Making America S**t Again)!
I believe Flake and Murkowski will vote no. If Manchin doesn’t flip, it’s over for Kavanaugh, the Republican House and Trump’s agenda for the next 2 years.
Senate Republicans had better by now recognize their jobs are on the line if Kavanaugh is not confirmed. Really pathetic to see so few speak up for Kavanaugh, leaving the only voices heard being the Democrats. They need to come out of their safe spaces and be heard.

Exactly. The outrageous behavior of the Dems is making me furious.
Id suggest Lindsey Graham scream at Jeff Flake to vote for Kavanagh. Flake is easily scared into doing whatever someone screams at him to do.

Wow. This is a level of stupid that rivals anything on the leftist campuses of academia.
Lets state the logic here plain and simple:
If there arent enough good Republicans in the Senate to confirm Kavanaugh, then Im going to work to hand the Senate over to the democrats, who lied, cheated and assassinated the character of a good man.
Wow. Just fing wow. Please dont bother posting any more outrageous sh*t from the left, because now we have so-called conservatives out-doing campus and media crybullies.
Failure to vote would cause a bigger problem. Senators, vote and shut up.
Ditto
So the economy means nothing. Its not even part of the equation. Were going to let the communists take over our recovering economy just because we couldnt muster enough senators to vote for a good man. Sure makes perfect sense to me. If youre an utter fing moron. This is moron logic that rivals anything on The View.
It’s not so much Conservative voters that won’t turn out, it is Independents and Trump Dems that will look at the Repubs as ineffective and vote Dem or stay home.
The swing voters are the issue here.

Correct. Everything else is noise.
The point is it only takes a small percentage of fence-sitting people who would have turned out and voted GOP to stay home instead because they’re disgusted with the process.
Nobody thinks the kind of GOP voter who posts here would stay home or vote Dem.
i disagree - i think we’re bright enough to see and understand what happened Brett Kavanaugh and vote our hearts out anyway
