BOSTON - Sen. Jeff Flake said Monday he was working with the White House counsel's office to ensure that the FBI is able to do a "real investigation" into allegations of sexual misconduct against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
"We certainly want the FBI to do a real investigation and we are working to make sure that happens. I've had discussions, many yesterday, with my colleagues, with the White House counsel's office, my staff is following up as well. I had one of those conversations just five minutes ago to make sure that the - that any current credible allegation that has been made has been fully investigated," he said at the Forbes' Under 30 Summit.
"It does no good to have an investigation that just gives us more cover for example. We actually need to find out what we can find out," he continued, adding that "we have to realize that we may not be able to find out everything."
Over the weekend, Flake was called a "hero" at the MSNBC Global Citizen Festival when he came out on stage with friend and Democratic colleague, Sen. Chris Coons of Delaware. But here in Boston, protesters gathered outside the Forbes Under 30 Summit where Flake was speaking to decry Kavanaugh's nomination and the allegations against him.

Well now we know Flake’s excuse for a no vote on Friday.
He is finished and needs to start worrying about life after politics. Paybacks are hell.
Flake is determined to defeat this nomination. That’s the only conclusion a reasonable person can possibly make from these ongoing shenanigans.
The hatred of Trump here runs deep, and is a serious mental disorder. He might as well just change parties and be done with the posturing.

I’m sure they will. The report on each allegation will contain one sentence: “The FBI could not even identify the location where this alleged incident took place.”
FBI does “real” investigations when there is evident of a Federal crime.
This ALLEGED incident was a high school event, 34 years past the statute of limitations. No charges were every brought, and not one, cooperating witness.
No crime, no investigation.

I say we need to do a real investigation of Jeff Flake. Let’s go back to his high school, and college days. I want to know how many beers, shots, or both he drank together through all his high school, college, and political office years. How many times did he get slobberingly drunk through all those years? How many times did he puke his guts out from too much alcohol? How many times wasn’t he able to make it to the bathroom, and barfed somewhere else? How many times did he urinate outdoors when he had to “p*ss like a racehorse?” How many times he was too drunk to make it to class, or find his way home? How many times he got his a$$ kicked for being such a big pu$$y his whole life?
