Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh donated $10,000 to a GoFundMe campaign in aid of Dr. Christine Ford, as she continues to push sexual assault allegations against President Donald Trumps Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. A representative for Lesh confirmed to Rolling Stone that he made the donation last week to a GoFundMe campaign titled Help Christine Blasey Ford, days before she testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee about an alleged 3o-plus-year-old sexual assault. Christine Blasey Ford demonstrated a huge amount of courage speaking out this week, the campaigns statement reads. She did not initially come forward because she was scared of the response. She was right to be scared. Not only has the right wing smear machine started, but she is receiving serious threats against her and has had to engage a security force to protect her family, it continues. This is all really expensive and she needs our help. We need to protect the voices of brave people who speak out especially when they are part of our community.
Although the campaign is no longer accepting donations, the fundraising effort smashed its $150,000 target by raising $528,315 from roughly 11,500 people in under two weeks.

Ford and the Bassist: two left wing people with more money than sense. The phD is not destitute. She is not afraind to fly. The majority of those who donate do it for the way it makes them feel; not because it helps the needy.
He is a very fine bassist.
But people in and around the Grateful Dead are not well known for their good judgment.
He’s dead to me.
Still drinking the electric kool-aid
What’s the money for?
Isn’t Ann Coulter a big fan of the Grateful Dead?
Her net worth is probably 10 Times his. How many teenage girls has he molested over the years?
Whats the money for?

Do they even pretend to have an answer to this question?
Heard the fund is over $2M now. What a royal scam.
Idiot .. shut up and retire.
The Dead are dead to me.
Your way ahead of me here.
Very disappointed....
He will soon wish he had that back...................
This utterly reeks of a scam. She took in a total of something like $526K. GoF-me takes 5% of that leaving her exactly with half a million. Gee, that’s sort of strange don’t you think. And just why would she need this money if the Rats have provided her with everything, lawyers, plane tickets and hotel? This is all theater. They offered her half a mill to BS, then they spent 10 days schooling her on what to say and how to answer questions.
Giving her lawyers a bigger bucket of money. Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em, Phil.
You figured that out all by yourself?
If Steely Dan donates then they must be driving that train high on cocaine
