Full title:Newt Gingrich: Blue wave of liberal cash from California and New York flooding Georgia governor's race

Youve probably heard a lot about the supposed blue wave the political elite are predicting for the election cycle. Im confident Republicans will keep control of the House and the Senate, but a different kind of blue wave is currently washing across several states.
Its a blue wave of liberal funding.
A massive flow of money from liberal donors in California and New York is pouring into traditionally Republican states and districts. We first saw this blue wave of cash during the special elections held to replace the Congressmen and Senators who were appointed to the Trump Administration. The most notable was the race between Republican Karen Handel and Democrat Jon Ossoff in my old district, the 6th District of Georgia.
This Georgia special election was the most expensive in history. According to The New York Times, the campaigns raised about $28 million with the bulk, $23.6 million going to Ossoff. Of Ossoffs haul, 82 percent was from outside Georgia, and the majority of contributions came from notoriously left-wing states, like California and New York.
This blue wave of cash is happening in Texas, too. Gina Jones, the Democratic challenger to Republican Will Hurd has collected 99 percent of her donations from outside the 23rdDistrict. Similarly, Beto ORourke, the Democrat challenging Senator Ted Cruz was recently profiled by Variety for his various fundraising trips to Hollywood to finance his campaign.

If they can buy the Georgia Governorship I say let them. It’s their money.
mixed feelings. Is it ethical for entities in one state to try to influence in a disproportionate way the elections in a different state?
Don’t forget the black D mayor of Tallahassee, Florida (under investigation for fraud) campaigning for Gov of FL. Its how the Dems roll.
It is possibly a down side that Kemp has a zombie daughter in the closet and is obsessed with attacking the prison.
They should have given Ford a time to show up, and if she didn’t take the vote.
She diddled with them for several weeks while she played Grassley like a violin.
He could have played hard ball with her. She was a flier, and yet she lied and said she couldn’t fly. He offered to come to her, and now she says she didn’t know, even though it was in the news for days.
I could go on. There was not offense on our team.
Grassley backed up, then backed up again, then backed up again...
You never win backing up.
I don’t feel that way, but who are we kidding?
We haven’t got one attack dog other than Trump.
He can’t do it all on his own. Mitch, Grassley, they allowed Ford to play them.
She drug that out for several weeks, and they just allowed it.
Sounds like an old, senile driver. He thought he had it in Forward.
That might work in the movies. In real life, your plan assumes that Murkowski and Collins would vote for Kavanaugh without holding a hearing for Ford. That was never going to happen.
It does sound like that doesn’t it.
Oh heck, I ran over a bunch of our candidates on down the line. “Sorry...”
I think Collins is a no regardless of the FBI. There is $1+ million promised to her opponent if she votes yes. The money will go against her whatever she votes. Murkowski knows she will get primaried if she votes NO. If not Manchin, its Pence for the win.
Ive been saying since the protesters were allowed to constantly disrupt...Grassley is too feeble to be Chair of this VERY important committee.
He needs to step aside, once his farcical circus has ended.
That’s a rather interesting comment, because there were reports out that we had the votes.
Then a few more games were played, and all of a sudden our guys were gotten to. Flake is a great example.
He was for us, and then that elevator incident convinced him to say he wouldn’t vote for Cavanaugh.
There was no real defense of Kavanaugh. The witness had her say after weeks of delay. How do you counter that?
Flake still isn’t on board.
At this point, sure you have to have the FBI investigation.
The FBI should have been running down this broad’s history a month ago. But then that would take some family jewels on our side, and I haven’t seen any in the U. S. Senate on our side in so long, I’m not sure there are any.
I agree.
This is precisely why we have an electoral college system to protect rural areas from automatic becoming vassal states.
Now the Corruptocrata are simply trying to buy elections.
Thanks Soros...
Neither Murkowski or Collins said that they were going to vote for Kavanaugh. Neither McConnell or Graham claimed that they had their votes. Graham admitted on Friday morning that they didn’t have the votes. We’ll never know, but I think that if we hadn’t agreed to a so called FBI Investigation, Murkowski and Collins would have voted no on the floor. As for Flake, who knows.
Of course, what the Democrats really wanted was an open ended FBI criminal investigation, but they didn’t get that, they only got a supplemental background investigation, a clean up on Aisle three. But, they are pretending that they got what they wanted, because they need to convince their constituents that they forced the Republicans to cave. Probably about the best outcome that we could manage given the wobbly Senators on our side.
I disagree.
DiFi timed the release of CBF’s “allegations” hoping Grassley would try to sweep it under the rug. He wisely didn’t and I think it was only about a 1 week reset to the process to accommodate the appearance of Her Royal Highness to the proceedings.
This freaked the Dems and they produced other outrageous allegations.
Princess-Pea was set to appear, but Grassley had already alerted McConnell that the committee would vote Friday, and the Senate would be in session over the weekend keeping the post-committee clocks running.
P-P did her shtick. She didn’t confess, but she wasn’t beaten to death by angry white men. That was a bold move, by the way. If she was given an opportunity, I am sure she was coached to run, crying from the room.
Flake, intentionally or otherwise, provided a means to allow the committee work to complete and for cover for D’s who want to buck Schumer to save their seats that Trump is now out seriously threatening over this.
Grassley used this to get the Dems in and slam the vote through to approve in the committee and send to the Senate with no more time for Dem shenanigans.
We’re here now waiting for a Trump-requested FBI report (they can’t ALL be bad) that will say that Princess-Pea is a psycho and some people need to be charged with perjury. This, while Trump is out switching some key D votes.
I say it has been masterfully executed and pray for a real spanking for the D’s over this in November.
I am just really impressed how both Grassley and Graham have worked to get Trump’s nomination through. This is taking a tremendous amount of guts to push back on EVERYONE to ram this through, but I think that Trump has this game figured out.
Oh, and if anyone is looking for headlines saying “Conservatives are Winning!”, they’re idiots.
I finally saw my first DeSantis tv ad here in Florida today. On red tide of all things. He is really tip toeing through the tulips now.
Well said, that’s precisely what the RATs and their sugar daddies are attempting.
