Great optics for us. Help knock down some nuts who think about throwing bogus charges out this coming week.

This sends a message to ALL those about to be interviewed that liars will be prosecuted.

Good move.

MSM will ignore it.

The Senator leaking it a possible crime? Or are there any rules for senators to follow?

“The Liar that Whitehouse dug up. Whitehouse should be charged with Conspiracy to Obstruct Justice, along with every other Rat on that Committee.”

I’d never seen Whitehouse before these hearings and had barely heard of him. Now that I’ve seen the Rat in action I have to say he is one dirty piece of work.

“Hopefully this whole house of cards will begin to fall. Ford’s lawyers want a few weeks before she is interviewed.”

She has probably flown somewhere and is afraid to fly back.

don’t forget Spygate:

29 Sept: Daily Caller: House Judiciary Subpoenas Fusion GPS Co-Founder Glenn Simpson
by Chuck Ross
The House Judiciary Committee on Friday issued a subpoena to Glenn Simpson, the co-founder of Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm that commissioned the Steele dossier on the Trump campaign.
Virginia Rep. Bob Goodlatte, the Judiciary panel’s chairman, announced the subpoena on Twitter.

Simpson, a former Wall Street Journal reporter, will likely face questions over his involvement in the dossier, which was funded by the Democratic National Committee and Clinton campaign. His hiring of Nellie Ohr, the wife of Justice Department official Nellie Ohr, is also a likely topic of discussion...

On Thursday, Simpson’s attorney, Josh Levy, told Goodlatte and South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, that Simpson would not appear for an interview, as the committees had requested last week...

The Rhode Island guy ....... he needed to be referred - way to go Grassley!!

Monday, Sept. 4
The second is an allegation from a man (whose name Senator Whitehouse has demanded we keep from the public) in Rhode Island relayed to Committee staff by Senator Whitehouse’s staff. The Rhode Island man claims that two men named “Brett and Mark” raped a woman on a boat in Newport in 1985, after which the man making the allegation claims he and a friend beat up “Brett and Mark.”

https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/press/rep/releases/summary-of-actions-by-chairman-grassley-and-the-senate-judiciary-committee-related-to-allegations-made-and-disputed-regarding-judge-brett-kavanaugh

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Info reporters (media - beware!) dug up:

The constituent’s name was redacted, but the committee staffer conducting the Kavanaugh interview enabled reporters to track down the Twitter account.

The staffer read to Judge Kavanaugh two tweets that matched tweets by @JeffreyCatala16.

The account, much of which included semi-coherent rants against President Trump calling him a “domestic terrorist” and “Bozo” and accused him of “manslaughter,” recanted the allegation Wednesday and apologized.

Do everyone who is going crazy about what I had said I have recanted because I have made a mistake and apologize for such mistake
— Jeffrey Catalan (@JeffreyCatala16) September 26, 2018

“[T]o everyone who is going crazy about what I had said I have recanted because I have made a mistake and apologize for such mistake,” said the account with the location Tiverton, Rhode Island.

Multiple news organizations reported the allegations after the transcript was released, while others said the Rhode Island account appeared to be a bot, or fake account.

The account, which was started in June, identified the holder as a “Graphic Artist, Artist, photography and writer. Hippie, First Responder, Father and Grandpa and proud of it.”

Perhaps this FBI investigation wasn’t such a bad idea. Go after the secondary accusers first and prosecute. That ought to rattle Ford and her lawyers.

Illegal to impede a congressional investigation.

Grassley warned Feinstein to be careful a week or so ago.

I suspect that he is thinking about giving her a treatment. I doubt that he would have her arrested, although he should, but an ethics investigation would end her as a powerful senator. Even if she held on to the office, she would be ignored.

I agree!

It also shows that the accusation does not have to be sworn testimony.
