Trump suggested the FBI investigation might even reveal who leaked an allegation of sexual assault against Kavanaugh by Ford and he hinted that it could be Feinstein.
"I think frankly the FBI has a chance reveal a lot of different things," Trump said. "I'd like to find out who leaked the papers, was it Sen. Feinstein? Because certainly her body language was not exactly very good when they asked her that question, so I would like to find out, as part of it, who leaked the papers, which Democrats leaked the papers."

There is no evidence to support Ford's claims either. I would trade one Feinstein investigation for an extensive Hillary probe. (And yes, that's a really horrible thought right before dinner.)

FBI probe v7 should:
Probe all leaks for criminal activity.
Probe CBF’s lawyers for obstruction of Justice and interference in a Senate investigation
I don't expect this additional investigation will turn over anything, much less any evidence that any crime took place. In fact, I expect it will vindicate Judge Kavanaugh while casting further doubt against his accusers.
It will likely buy the Judge enough votes on the (R) side that his confirmation sails through effortlessly and may even bring a couple of (D) Senators over as well.
And in the end, when the Democrats are hollering about impeachment, the Republicans will use this final FBI investigation to squash these efforts.
The Democrats will naturally cry about "rigged FBI investigations designed to give immunity" to Associate Justice Kavanaugh.
Good insight. There are revelations that all the handlers Ford’s lawyer could buy could not contain. Ford should not worry about her uncombed hair. She should be worried that her life will be gone over with a fine-toothed comb. She would be better to withdraw her allegations against Kavanaugh immediately.
Yep, she has an out. She can simply claim that her memories are flawed due to the memory recovery methods. If she keeps this up, she may well face criminal charges. If her anxiety is bad now, think how it will be when she is facing a grand jury.

After taking the Oath and saying she was 100% sure it was him, she cannot say she was mistaken. At this point it’s all in the pot with the money. Her only way out is to play the ‘the counselor manipulated me and my depressed memories.’ Then you’d really see some sweating because the counselor would be on the hot seat for everything that has come about.
