Fox News reporting FBI investigating Ramirez and Swetnick claims
September 29, 2018

Posted on 09/29/2018 8:33:30 AM PDT by NKP_Vet

NeverTrumper Neil Cavuto reporting the FBI has reached out to the idiots Swetnick and Ramirez. If this is the case Wray ignored Trump’s directions for a limited supplemental background investigation. This is 100% BS. These are not credible accusations and neither is Ford’s. This is a witch hunt.

Statement from President @realDonaldTrump: “I’ve ordered the FBI to conduct a supplemental investigation to update Judge Kavanaugh’s file. As the Senate has requested, this update must be limited in scope and completed in less than one week.”

I also believe Trump needed Ford under oath in order to proceed with the FBI investigation. He is sure that Brett is being truthful or he would have given him an out. I can hear Brett saying and looking right in Trump’s eyes , Mr. President The allegations are false. Trump believes him fully.

Good point. I’d also like to add that if Kavanaugh was guilty of any of this, he would not have accepted the nomination in the first place, knowing this would come out during the confirmation process. If true, his family and reputation would be destroyed.
He’s a smart guy, and would not let that happen.

Instead, the Dems destroyed him, made him a victim...and a hero.

The Dems will rue this day for generations to come.

It’s not just another Kavenaugh investigation. His file includes a LOT of stuff. This is the FBI.....they can and will go anywhere needed to put together a composite picture.

Much of what was in his file was never touched in the hearings. The accuser and her history is just as much a part of this update. No one knows precisely what scope means? Doubt they’re looking at 5th grade yearbooks. Her social media accounts are certainly in play. And her yearbook which was never brought up in the hearing. As are any communications she may have had with her so called witnesses.

This is very much apart of the “scope” supplemental investigation. You can’t presume to know the extent of that reach.

How much time do you get for making false statements to the FBI?

These two weaken the other accusation.

Better yet by saying it in her statement, Ford committed perjury. You can not refer to yourself as a psychologist in ca w/o license.

I’m guessing that’s what Trump laid out in his marching orders to the FBI.

***************

He ordered a supplemental investigation to be limited in time and scope. That is all.

Trump cannot be perceived as defining the scope so the FBI will do it. Do you think they care what Trump wants? No, they and their brethren at DOJ have established themselves as an unaccountable independent fourth branch of government. And make no mistake about, these bureaucrats don’t like or respect Trump.

He’s been way too easy on them in my opinion. They only respect those they fear, and they don’t fear him at all.

I’d be very surprised if the FBI comes up with anything we don’t already know. Most of the allegations have been submitted in writing to the judiciary committee. And Kavanaugh, Judge, PJ, etc have all submitted letters refuting the allegations. You’ve have the media, which in many cases can get more information than the FBI through anonymity.

I saw one source that said the FBI did have access to phone records going back to 1982, but not sure if that is really true or not.

Personally just not very worried. FBI has already done this 6 times, and they do go back and talk to old neighbors and HS friends on background checks.

The FBI is corrupt & incompetent. It hasn’t figured out the Mandalay Bay massacre yet a year ago.

That is true but it will never be addressed in the FBI’s so-called findings because it would severely damage her credibility and expose the woman-child to legal charges.

The point is to make childish behavior in High School keep a judge off the Supreme Court. Once you have established that, finding childish behavior is easy.

Sorry, but if she was awarded a Ph.D. in psychology she is entitled to be called a psychologist. BTW, I still don’t believe her

"He ordered a supplemental investigation to be limited in time and scope. That is all."

Just curious - you state that as fact. Do you know that? How?

Also, I believe that there are honorable people at the FBI; not all are corrupt. The good ones lay low when their bosses are bad. Just departmental politics.

Folks around here have painted the entire department with a broad brush. It's an easy thing to do, but life ain't that simple.

Remember the scene in Shane, where Alan Ladd says to Jack Palance (repeating Elisha Cooks suicidal speech) “You’re a low down Yankee liar”.

And Palance, smiling, replies “Prove it!”

After CBJ’S opening statement, Judge K should have repeated Palance’s line: Prove it!

Yup. According to Trump, it's just another Kavenaugh investigation.

Perhaps I wasn't clear. It's another FBI Kavenaugh supplemental background investigation.

All the political FBI hacks have been outed and fired.

I’d reel of the list of names but it would take too long.

The FBI leadership has been gutted by Trump and his administration. The entire law enforcement apparatus is under his control now and so will this quick investigation.

I'd like to see the FBI investigation expanded to include the behavior of Ford's attorneys and Feinstein. I'm guessing that's what Trump laid out in his marching orders to the FBI.

According to Trump it's only a Kavenaugh supplemental background investigation.

In such an investigation, they ask other people about the subject of the investigation. They don't investigate the other people.

Your comments again are at odds with what Trump said.

Trump says that there is still a stench at the FBI and DOJ and that he may have to get involved.
