WASHINGTON — Former FBI officials expressed confidence Friday that agents could quickly interview key witnesses and track down potential leads into Christine Blasey Ford’s allegations...

A Los Angeles Times reporter located Gaudette’s home from when he was in high school and was allowed inside. Its current owner said the Gaudette family lived in the two-story, single-family house in Rockville, Md., in the early 1980s... Ford...testified, she was pushed into a bedroom across the hall...She said she ran out of the room and into the bathroom across the hall.

A master bedroom sits at the top of stairs of Gaudette’s old home. It has an en suite bathroom, but none directly across from it. A bedroom down the hall is across from a bathroom.

At this point, I feel the process is so rigged against Judge K that the FBI will only investigate him and completely ignore anything about Ford.

No matter how it turns out, the "truth checkers" like Snopes will always say that the allegations were never disproved. That is the way things work now, allegations don't need to be proved, they need to be disproved.

wouldn’t it be nice to start with ‘a’, and go down the list of every single one of our congresscritters, agency heads, hollywierdos, you name it, hand over the high school year books, juvie records, put it all out on the table. We can dream.

FBI has municipal permit and license information going back for a lonnngggg time (Definitely 1982) at their fingertips.

Houses before the late sixties or so might take a couple of hours (Sans travel time to the municipality) to pull-up if they were not put into a database.

What would be interesting is if they find out she was lying, what then?

Nothing, absolutely nothing unless someone brought a slander suit against her and nobody will.

Yep - she says she snuck out but her good friend didn’t notice anything strange - one must presume that either Judge and Kavanaugh rejoined the party or snuck out themselves, either of which would serve to help make the party more memorable...lots of questions to help show how mendacious she has been...the lies about being afraid to fly are “meaningless” to the Dems though - and to Flake too...he can’t be gone from the GOP soon enough....his face looked flushed and he looked disturbed after the dems corralled him - wonder what threats they levied about his own past....

these kids werent’ rich in todays terms.... downtown Bethesda for example was originally a very blue collar area. So no one would have been taking a cab. Unless you lived in the area of Bethesda next to Potomac, like Kenwood, housing would have been pretty normal sized... average 3 bedroom 2 bath.

Plus she said they ‘turned the music up” in the bedroom vs. “turned it on”...why would the music have been on if the room wasn’t “part of the entertainment”?

Yearbooks cut both ways.

The dems tried to hang Kavs yearbook around his neck.

The Yearbook committee choose the pics and the captions.
Which means they also choose what to omit.

Kav REPEATEDLY mentioned his sporting activities and his scholastic achievement.

If the editors don’t focus on those achievements, does that mean they didn’t happen?

If they post twice as many party pics as library pics, does that mean a person partied twice as much as they studied?

Pictures are just snapshots in time.
A SPLIT SECOND of an event, frozen.

A yearbook is snapshots, spit seconds of events throughout a given year. There are only a few hundred photos or split second snapshots in a yearbook. But their are 31.5 million SECONDS in a year and 490 (2015) students, not including staff.

EVERY student has 31.5 million seconds in a year

And yet, other than a class picture, not every student has their picture in the yearbook.

I know for myself, in my college days, my buddies liked beer (me, not so much, or at all).
I had one friend who had GREAT parties.
Parties where some people got pretty s#!t faced.
Usually, I was the guy walking around with a bottle of Coke (just Coke) in my hand.
I’d get loud and crazy with my friends...but absolutely sober.

Point being...was I a drunk partier, just by association?

This yearbook thing is a bad thing.
If we try to paint “our adversary” in a bad light using their yearbook, the very same standard can be used against “our ally”

Snapshots of a person or that persons friends, don’t tell you the whole or even a true story.
It also is dependent on the commenter/editor at the time AND
the “translator” years later.

How many kids have seen a parents yearbook or photo album and questioned “Is this you?”

They’ve spent years with their parent.
They know their parent.
And yet, the picture is of an alien to them.
How much more so for someone who they don’t know?

I recall many of us didn’t take the metro bus, but the more local route based ride on buses. Again, I knew lower middle class kids who went to Georgetown visitation, Gonzaga and Prep, because these were catholic schools. Holton Arms isnt Catholic... but at that time, middle class to upper middle class students would have attended.

I grew up in NW Indiana. The phrase was the same for us so I understand completely. I believe CBF used air quotes when she said that.

Fords Holton arms yearbook is all about debauchery... back then the faculty imposed guidelines on dress, but would not have understood jargony references.

In most states, permits can be used to drive at night to and from work or school. Today’s Maryland laws show the youngest you can be to get a permit is 15 years and 9 months.

Ford said she didn’t have her license. I can’t find Leland’s birthday to see if she was old enough that summer.

FNC just reported Leland is willing to cooperate with the FBI investigation. So, all three are cooperating. They can’t change their previous statements of denial or they’ll be in trouble.

the whole thing becomes a perjury trap just for the "job applicant"

same as Mueller's 'investigation'. Amazing how the dems found ethics and a quest for 'truth' after 8 disasterous years of the sneakiest, lyin'ist, dividing-ist president in American history. But only for Republican appointees.

The confirmation is now up to McConnell (primarily) and Trump .....they are the ones to receive, to process, to deal with the FBI report.

Nails why Trump agreed to it.

I keep remembering how McC finessed the Gorsuch nom......looking better by the minute.

Do Maryland houses have basements? If so, then a guest would be directed to the basement restroom or first floor powder room rather than up to the private second floor.

Why would Brett and Judge be upstairs? Possibly in the owner’s son’s room but not the master or another other bedroom. Why hasn’t she said who’s room it was? A teen boy’s room, the master, the guest room, a daughter’s girly decorated room?
