My buddy used to play up right bass for Lena Horne.
He cant do that no more, he can still play, but cannot get his arms around an upright bass, he is shrinking LOL

The Ice Man eventually left music for Chicago politics. His era was the late Fifties and early Sixties, but he briefly came back in the Seventies. This is from an appearance on “Soul Train.”

Harry had gone to his eternal reward by the time this came out in 1985, so we can only guess what he might have thought of it. It takes a great song to survive this kind of treatment. It starts with the Flamingos like so many versions, but it adds a techno-pop sound with multiple rhythm tracks.
