My prediction:
Jeff Flake will vote NO as he is leaving and hates Trump and this could be his last hurrah at trying to screw Trump.
Hope I am wrong!
This was all theater folks...
Anyone who was voting no on Kavanaugh after that train wreck was going to vote no on him before... that circus was nothing but theater.
Kavanaugh will be confirmed by 52-55 votes... and depending on just how badly that fiasco yesterday shows in the polling, it may be even higher.
Betting there’s a last-minute bimbo, #5, or is it 6? who “remembers” that Kavanaugh poisoned, hacked to death 5 women, dismembered them, and placed them in plastic bags back in 1983.
You need to get Ving Rhames to say it, like in the Arby’s Commercial, “We Have The Votes!”
It’s all over after Tuesday. It appears Grahamnesty walked Flake across the bridge last night.
This is a Pyrrhic victory.
Why?
We did not punish the dirty ba$tards who did this to a good man. There needs to be pay back.
I’m rethinking this today. Graham is my senator. Never voted for him and never will. (rabid anti-trumper in 2016 +amnesty + badly damaged branding)There were other senators who are more conservative, more moral and more likely to speak out.I think of all the RINO’s up for reelection in 2020 Graham is the most likely to lose a primary if there’s a conservative challenger. probably that’s why McConnell and shumer gave the free air time to him. If they suckered us all in with theater again and had the votes all along then the only mystery remaining is how McConnell and shumer will divy up the free air time. (they’ll certainly make it last long enough to shove another obama style spending bill thru with little media scrutiny so as to minimize pissing off conservative R’s.
Must be dims that are running for reelection and it is going to be close for them.
