With the Senate Judiciary Committee holding a vote at 9:30 A.M. tomorrow, a Senate insider has told Townhall that Kavanaugh has the votes to make it out of committee and the votes to be confirmed on the floor for a seat on the U.S. Supreme Court. Sens. Flake (R-AZ), Collins (R-ME), Murkowski (R-AK), and Manchin (D-WV) are expected to vote in favor of Kavanaugh. All the Republicans are voting yes. Also, in the rumor mill, several Democrats may break ranks and back Kavanaugh. That’s the ball game, folks.
It was an intense and hellacious day at the Senate Judiciary Committee. Christine Blasey Ford, the woman accusing Judge Brett Kavanaugh of an attempted rape while at a high school party, told her story of her alleged sexual assault. It was intense. It was emotional. And it still lacked evidence, witnesses, and other corroborating details. It’s an unprovable allegation, which is what Democrats want; it allows them to delay and run out the clock on this nomination. The FBI investigation talking point has been beaten to death by Senate Democrats, another delay tactic that has been undercut by past remarks by none other than Joe Biden. When he chaired the committee during the Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings, Biden famously said that FBI reports are inconclusive and should not be relied on during sexual misconduct allegations.
Brett Kavanaugh testified later this afternoon, giving an emotional and fiery defense of his character and career after it had been under a sustained assault by the Left for over a week. Kavanaugh said that the allegations—all three of them—were false and have irreparably damaged his reputation and damaged his family life. He said this process had become a national disgrace, with Democrats replacing advise and consent with search and destroy. Kavanaugh needed to come out swinging. He needed to be tough. And he did just that.
I don’t see that as much of a problem for female nominees. They’ll portray conservative women as traitors to their sex, which is ludicrous.
Exactly. I was one of the conservatives who was not happy with Kavenaugh being picked. Mainstream Bushite. Only the nutty dems could succed in turning a moderate middle of the road justice K into an eye opened mad as hell conservative trumpie. Amazing.

As I said on this very site well over a week ago...this Kavanaugh “Democrat Party” caper fiasco will not end well for the entire Democrat Party. Make no mistake about it, Mr. & Mrs. America, it is George Soros, the Clinton Cabal, Tom Steyer and the Democrat Party that are the real true villains, the criminals, the low lifes that are directly guilty for the Ford/Kavanaugh escapade. And...they will pay dearly for it...maybe even putting the Democrat Party into a non-functioning effective political party.
The evening of Election Day, November 6, 2018 will be an evening of agony, failure and political devastation for the entire Democrat Party, from top to bottom. The coarse words, the demeaning of men, the abuse of women (Ms. Ford), foisted forward by gutter rat dwellers, Democrats, Feinstein, Durbin, Booker, Horono. Blumenthal, Whitehouse have a done yeoman’s service in assisting in the almost terminal destruction of the Democrat Party.
I am not talking about the political game....I am talking about the human game. Ms. Ford very well may have had some sort of sexual abuse, imagined or real, and Mr. Kavanaugh could, or could not, have actually abused her in the manner she described. The cardinal sin by the Democrat Party and their nutcase, radical, left-wing, power driven allies, Soros, Steyer, etc. is the cold, cruel manipulation of an unbalanced, disturbed Ms. Ford, who requires professional mental, medical, and open counseling for a number of illnesses, the poor woman suffers from. The woman was hardy in control of her facilities to communicate her input, without being nurtured along by two Democrat Gestapo Lawyers who guided her like Big Brother. Add to that the planed destruction of Brett Kavanaugh, his wife, his innocent children, his Mother and Father and the entire family, is an injustice that requires an eternal assignment to Satan’a Hell forever.
Ms. Ford & Mr. Kavanaugh are no culprits here, maybe misguided...the real culprit is the Democrat Party and, the overwhelming number of the American people and voters “KNOW IT”!!! The Democrats were already doing themselves in, blinded by hate envy, jealousy for Trump & his Trumpers...but, now, yesterday they committed political suicide in front of the entire nation. May God have mercy on their evil, cold-hearted souls!!!

YES!! Lindsey Graham make a five minute speech which was timed to perfection and right on point. I don't know if there is some political motive behind his actions, it surely didn't sound like it to me, and I don't care. It was the right thing to do at the right moment.

As fair of a guy as I think Kavanaugh was 2 weeks ago; after this fiasco I just don’t see him lining up on liberal issues going forward on the Supreme Court too often.
Consciously or sub-consciously, not sure. How do you get over what they did to him and his family?
