I find the GOP questioner to be impressive and methodical. Thus far her questioning has revealed or underscores...
10 MINUTES AGO · PUBLIC
1. The distance between the accuser's house and the country club was between 6-8 miles, thereby necessitating a driver since she was 15 at the time. Who was the driver?
2. There have been discrepancies on dates, i.e., when the alleged assault took place.
3. There is no mention of Kavanaugh in the 2013 therapist's notes.
4. Before they were married, she told her husband she had been assaulted but didn't mention Kavanaugh.
5. Despite her alleged fear of flying, which was said to be the reason for delaying the hearing until a later time, she has flown often for work and vacations.

And that's all it is.
The reality is a woman with probably hundreds of sex partners in her past, and she's in reality Marilyn Chambers presenting herself as the Ivory Soap girl.
She's about as pure as a snowflake on a Pittsburgh Steel plant smokestack.
Everyone who goes into that field knows they are crazy and are trying to figure out how to fix themselves. There is no one yet known to perform the trick successfully, but they still try in great numbers nevertheless.
Well unfortunately they were on the fence and were ready to vote maybe leaning a tad towards a no vote...this will only cement that vote! This circus will be their saving grace! The lying witch is playing them like a fiddle!! The stupid republicans are already lining up to delay the vote! She’s winning and doing a good job of convincing the stupid party to boot out kavanuagh.
After Kavanaugh is seated on the court there must be a serious and thorough (criminal) investigation into how the DemonRats colluded with the lying accusers in this disgraceful spectacle.
Senate rules need to change to reduce this garbage as much as possible.
If/when Trump names Ginsberg and/or Breyers replacement(s) this will repeat and could/will get worse, because it will be a tectonic shift for the court and country. Liberals will go full civil war.
“Ford has admitted that this incident was just 1 of the reasons she says she suffers mental anguish.”
This is the part of her testimony so far where she seemed very evasive. She came across as meek, mild, just wanting to be helpful and truthful—which seems to be how she was coached to act—but she failed at this question.
She got very uncomfortable. She tried to change the subject to generic technical answers from her professional background. However, she swore to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. She did NOT.
I simply do not believe the event she described is the source of her PTSD. If the event occurred, whether with Kavanaugh or someone else, her own description is basically she escaped from a possible (in her mind) rape or murder. She was not murdered. She was not raped. The left wants to make this out as a sexual assault.
Worst case scenario, she should have been relieved that something worse did not happen. She talks about confronting Mark Judge later at his work and saying hello. She describes him as being uncomfortable, not herself. But supposedly this event caused her PTSD. Not buying it. Her body language tells me she knows this is not the real cause either.
Stuff similar to this happens all the time in which teenagers drink, flirt, they’re all fairly inexperienced but want to appear cool to their peers, especially the ones of the opposite sex. There may be dancing and some suggestive behavior, words, or even just looks. The guy suggests going somewhere more private and might offer an excuse like “Want to go look at my album collection” which just happens to be in his bedroom. The girl agrees and might be flirtatious about it. The drinking may exaggerate the effect. The guy interprets it that she wants to have sex. He playfully (in his mind) throws her on the bed. She realizes this is not what she wants. It takes a minute before the half-drunk guy gets the message. He backs off.
This appears to me the most likely explanation of what happened, probably with someone other than Kavanaugh. But whether or not everything in her story is 100% true, I don’t buy that this is the cause of her PTSD. Something else happened to her. She was very evasive and uncomfortable talking about it.
My guess is that she was assaulted later, or had a sexual encounter that she deeply regretted. Perhaps she had an unwanted pregnancy or was so promiscuous she got pregnant and did not know who the father was. Then she had an abortion.
I’ve talked to women who admitted to having abortions. They all become very emotionally and psychologically damaged from this even if they don’t admit it. I know one women who was very mentally unstable due to this. I know another who actually made several suicide attempts and almost succeeded at least once. She never admitted that the abortion she had was in any way related.
I think Ford has PTSD because she had an abortion. She feels a strong need to defend abortion in order to justify her own actions. And she must see herself as a victim in order to cope with the guilt of having killed her own baby.
All these things make Judge Kavanaugh the perfect scapegoat for her problems.
I'd think she was afraid of getting in trouble for going to such a party. And if some sort of attempted assault by someone did occur, she might not have been thinking too clearly.
OTOH, that (6-8 miles) is a long walk, especially after having gone swimming. 2 hrs., at least, I would say. And even back then and in I assume "good neighborhoods", for a girl, alone? Who at the party did she like enough to do that? No party ever motivated me that much, that's for sure. (Getting stranded w/o a vehicle did once, though.)
When you were watching those Perry Mason TV shows, did the trial practice person you learned from ever tell you about the notion of “locking in a witness” to their story, so you can poke holes in it later?
And I agree with you about asking these detail followup questions in rapid succession. “Is it fair to say you don’t know how you found out about the party”. Is it fair to say you don’t know how you made it from the pool to the party?” , etc. Yes no questions, move through them fast. But the point about he made it home 6-8 miles away is important, because there would be another witness who does not exist, and it should be discussed.
6) You identify this, Ms Ford, as the singular cause of your emotional problems, yet you only discussed it once with your therapist? REALLY???
The Valley girl act of Christine Blasey Ford does not wear well. She has been caught in many inconsistancies in her testimony under oath.
It was disturbing that Professor Christine Blasey Ford said she had no knowledge that Sen. Grassley had offered to fly Miss Mitchell and staff to California to get her testimony under oaths in private. Why didn’t she know this fact?
It's the Anita Hill situation all over again. Christine "Betty" Ford isn't here to tell her story. Her own lawyers -- especially that Katz mutant -- see her as nothing more than a political pawn.
I hate to disillusion you, but this whole incident confirms that the Democrats will fight for evil but Republicans will not fight for good. If Kavanaugh is destroyed, its no sweat of Grassleys back.
Just watched Lindsey Graham on TV. He was great! He summarized the matter very clearly. Fords case has lots of holes, no corroboration, and she was used by the Dems. I used to dislike him. Not any more.
Huh? I thought Marilyn Chambers was the mother on the Ivory Soap box.
She exhibits a lot of traits which suggest she believes it. She also comes across as seriously fragile - to the point where her trauma could be from a simple *feeling* of being trapped while a couple of guys carry on with horseplay, exaggerated into hysteria - or repressed memories artifact her mind has been working on for half a decade.
Yep, it looks like an excerpt but its not.
I can;t get Rush where I am. PLEASE tell me some of what he is saying! PLEASE!!!
Find some place to watch this ... he's heading toward wrapping up the statement shortly.
