In the wake of the 3rd Kavanaugh accuser Julie Swetnick's identity becoming public through her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, The Kuhner Report received a call from a man who identified himself as "Thomas in Boston," whose family knew the Swetnicks "Well" in Maryland, and discussed the known "Issues of Substance abuse," and "Mental Issues from Julie." He detailed a phone call from his sister this morning, who still lives in Maryland, where she said "Can you imagine a more delusional whack job is the one that came forward against Kavanaugh?"
"Thomas" also went on to describe the are where they grew up in Montgomery Village, "Quite a distance from Bethesda" and that the "Social circles" would not have interacted. He refutes that during High School "No way that she would have encountered these same social circles, certainly not during High School."
He did say the information he received was "Second hand," as it came from family members, but, he also offered details of the Swetnicks and his own family that lend credence to his story.

I was issued a secret security clearance in the Army due to my MOS. No background check, no nothing.
It was even upgraded to top secret within a couple of days after I was the weekend communication center trick chief and a top secret flash message came in over a non secure teletype.......
All I had to do to get it was call my NCO who was off for the weekend who then called the station CO who then took down my report Monday morning. Since I was heading back to the states on Tuesday, the TS clearance was mine when I got back from the 30 day leave........LOL!
With that being said, a typical security clearance as she might have only entails a credit and criminal background check.
Corporations utilize them constantly when hiring individuals for supervisory or management positions..........
They said 18 months when I was going through the process. My screening started in February and I was in a TS seat in June. That being said, there were only 7 other people in the country doing what I did so maybe I got a fast track? No prior clearance, no military service, hell, I didn’t even have a college degree at the time.
And btw, I’m not discounting at all what you’re saying about things changing with clearances. I quit and went to college. When I was ready to graduate and was applying for jobs, I looked into going back into a TS job but decided the clearance hassle wasn’t worth it and I could make more in the private sector anyway.

I doubt it would take the full 18 months, but they aren’t sponsoring anyone regardless. Even though they can’t fill countless position they are only considering active TS. Now, they are sponsoring younger folks; < 5 years experience. But no shock there.

That’s totally right. Gaithersburg is socially far far away from the private schools like Georgetown Prep/Holton Arms/Landon. There are a couple of public high schools like Bethesda/Chevy Chase and Walt Whitman where maybe there’d be some socializing with the private school kids (like maybe the It’s Academic types??).
