Enough with the smearing of Brett Kavanaugh
The New York Post ^ | September 24, 2018 | The Post Editorial Board

Posted on 09/25/2018 9:09:14 AM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

A defiant Brett Kavanaugh tells the Senate Judiciary Committee he will not allow the ongoing smears from Democratic sources to intimidate him into withdrawing his Supreme Court nomination. Good for him.

Especially when the latest onslaught against him from Ronan Farrow and Jane Mayer in The New Yorker adds up to a whole lot of nothing.

By Farrow-Mayer’s own account, accuser Deborah Ramirez couldn’t be certain that Kavanaugh was responsible, and every one of her “corroborating” witnesses disputes her account.

Just as all the people named by Christine Blasey Ford as having been at the high-school party where she recalls being attacked also deny it.

No wonder The New York Times and other national media outlets took a pass on the Ramirez story: The Times said it “interviewed several dozen people” and could find “no one with firsthand knowledge.”

Indeed, Ramirez told Farrow and Meyer that she only decided to go public “after six days of carefully assessing her memories and consulting with her attorney.”

So 35 years left her uncertain — but 35 years and six days crystallized her memory to provide graphic details? This barely even qualifies as an allegation.

But Judiciary Committee Democrats — who yet again knew about an accuser but never told their GOP colleagues — are demanding an open-ended delay and “an FBI investigation.”

If the political circumstances were reversed, Democrats would be screaming, “McCarthyism.” Yet they won’t hesitate in the slightest to destroy Kavanaugh’s career along with his nomination....

So what do we have here?

We have high schoolers rolling around on a bed.

We have college kids horsing around, and some guy allegedly whips it out.

Even if we say, for sake of argument, that these events happened exactly as stated from people’s recovered memory, should these sorts of events disqualify someone from high federal positions decades later???

They attack him precisely because he is a good man.

I’m sorry to say this for the sake of people who used to be Democrats, who maybe once had a romantic notion of what DNC stood for, the DNC has always been the sketchier of the two parties...

But in the Soros era they have descended into the demonic. GOP may be the spineless and stupid party, the compromised party, but DNC is sunk into criminality and perversion. You can no longer give benefit of the doubt to DNC politicians. They aren’t misguided. They know what they are doing. Take a good look at them and see if your skin doesn’t crawl.

Yes Ramirez NEVER told Roach about the incident

Even though Roach is obviously intent on hurting BK

Telling . . .

And 225 of Kav’s high school and college friends who will publicly support him, say that Roche is an douche who could never get along with anyone. See how that works.

If the Democrats want to play this game we can surely find things FAR, FAR WORSE that they did during their school years. Such behavior among Democrat men is legendary.

Excellent analysis. The Democrats are a diseased gangrenous appendage that must be amputated for the nation to survive.

Some of us saw that DECADES ago

And I remember in the mid 1990s hearing something they said/did and remarking to my beloved Mother (herself a former Democrat): “I’d be ashamed to be a Democrat nowadays” (She agreed)

And now, they are 100x WORSE than then. And I’m not exaggerating either

You have to be nuts or incredibly insecure to be that brainwashed now

I am/was very close to this day to former roommates

And there is one where we would likely not have many kind words for one another. Nothing major, just not a good roommate fit

Stuff happens

Only if you are a white male. Then yes, if you’ve ever left your room for any reason you are immediately disqualified from public life.

It isn’t just this. Its hard to ignore the O’Keefe videos from the campaign, watching them boast how they can put a contract mob on your doorstep on a moment’s notice.

In the Soros era, the DNC politics has become increasingly third-world. Use the law when it favors you, use intimidation when the law doesn’t favor you. Use blackmail, bribery, only advance people who can be controlled, and never hesitate to use mobs for deniable violence. BLM, Antifa, SEIU, and a grab bag of anonymous others do your bidding while providing you with deniability.
