Republican Texas Senator Ted Cruz was chased out of a DC restaurant by protesters on Monday night, according to a video posted on Twitter.
The video was posted by “Smash Racism DC” and shows a large group of protesters chanting “We believe survivors” in reference to sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
Sen. Cruz appeared to be with his wife, Heidi Cruz.
One video shows a protester confronting Sen. Cruz and his wife as they entered the restaurant. Sen. Cruz tells the woman “God bless you” as his wife took a seat at restaurant table.
After the protesters surround the table, Sen. Cruz tells Mrs. Cruz, “Let’s go ahead and go” and puts on his jacket to leave.

Next time, lead them to Peking Gourmet Inn in Falls Church,VA. They love GOP there, and if the offensive mob follows him in, there’s going to be some Kung Foo fighting!
Been checking out the owners of the restaurant. They own a few of them, are apparently a big deal in the Beltway restaurant scene. Haven’t been able to find any political donations by them, or any activity that shows a bias.
But why the owners didn’the call the cops and press charges is beyond me.
This is a real black eye for their business, to my mind anyway. Patrons at a 5 star restaurant don’t pay to be harassed.

In Texas, there would have probably been several tables of good guys having dinner that would have explained manners to the protesters.
The restaurant staff called the protesters to inform them Cruz was at the restaurant.

I was just thinking that. The difference is that the current NAZIs have targeted about 50 percent of the population instead of 1.5 percent of the population back then. Kinda stupid.

Republicans should know by now to not eat out. If they all boycotted DC area restaurants for two weeks, many restaurants would go out of business. That would send a message to managers and owners to screen their employees more carefully and not play politics.

Whoa, prices start at $100 and go up. One would think the rabble and dregs wouldn’t be allowed in there. From their clothing, it may be they filthy scum followed Cruz into the restaurant.
