Was she ever planning to show? She was a stall so the dems could find or invent credible women and have time to gin up another riot if necessary. One can’t help but think they thought it would be like the Roy Moore situation. Make the bogus claims, then after they achieve their goals, disappear.

if anything she WROTE and submitted can be proven to be false
she can be prosecuted and if convicted be fined and spend up to 5 years in prison.
If they start charging perjury just for lying in the Senate that would set a bad precedent. That would really clean house.
They are worried that Kavanaugh will make a much more favorable impression. Far better to scrap the interview and then blame the Reps for confirming him without allowing Ford to speak. Ford will then appear on 60 minutes and The View before the midterms.
It’s pretty clear then Dems don’t care if it’s true or not. The mere fact that she is a woman an means YOU SHOULD BELIEVE HER. No questions.
