Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh on Monday defended himself against the sexual assault allegations roiling his nomination by saying he was a virgin through high school and college.
"We’re talking about an allegation of sexual assault," Kavanaugh said in a clip released from his interview on Fox News Channel's "The Story with Martha MacCallum."
"I’ve never sexually assaulted anyone," Kavanaugh said. "I did not have sexual intercourse or anything close to sexual intercourse in high school or for many years thereafter ... The girls from the schools I went to, and I, were friends."
"Through all these years that were in question, you were a virgin?" Fox News host Martha MacCallum asked.
"That’s correct," Kavanaugh replied, adding that he did not have sex until "many years after" college.
Neither of the two accusations regarding Kavanaugh involve sexual intercourse. Christine Blasey Ford is alleging Kavanaugh held her down and groped her over her clothes during a high school party in 1982, and Deborah Ramirez claims he exposed himself without her consent during a gathering at Yale University a few years later.
Fox News released clips from the interview throughout the evening on Monday.
At another point in the interview, Kavanaugh vowed he is "not going anywhere" despite the allegations.
"I’m not going to let false accusations drive us out of this process," he said, sitting beside his wife as she nodded.
Kavanaugh during the interview denied attending the party in Ford's account.
"[I am] not questioning and have not questioned that perhaps Dr. Ford at some point in her life was sexually assaulted by someone at some place but what I know is I’ve never sexually assaulted anyone," he said.
Ford has stated that she is sure Kavanaugh was the man who allegedly assaulted her in an episode that she says has caused her decades of emotional trauma.
The full interview is scheduled to air at 7 p.m. EST.
“A boy in high school isn’t a virgin because he respects women. It’s more likely just that he’s ugly.”

I have two sons that just completed basic training and SOI for the Marine Corps. They are 19 and 20. Both have been taught to have the highest respect for women. They are virgins. They are incredibly fine looking young men who regularly had girls chasing them.
They gladly endured some ribbing from their fellow recruits and Marines.
I had the great privilege to see one of their fellow recruits become a Christian through their witness to him. I had the pleasure of preaching the service at which this young man was baptized.
There are plenty of fine virtuous young men and women around.
My 19 year old is dating a fine young lady who is also a virgin.
The best revenge is to defeat them at the polling booth. Just like we did in 2016!

There are more long term male virgins out there then people think. Even in this day and age.

The sad thing to me, is that the Left, And the Right who acquiesced to the demands, have placed this man in the position where he must share deeply personal choices in order to strike back against their witch hunt.

I was a virgin until my junior year in college - with my (now) wife. I’m the same age as Kavanaugh.
What did she say? McCallum doesn’t come across as a party slut type.
Right now the dems are crapping down both legs... they will not stop, but they are now aware that they picked the wrong guy for this assault, not that they had a choice.
Even the media can't ignore this.
Right now, I guess the last thing they want is an open hearing. Get Kavanaugh in front of the committee with his story and the dems will be thoroughly embarrassed. They could lose votes over this one.
