Who in the world has their HIGH SCHOOL calendars? If he really has them, it speaks volumes about who he is.
Yeah he’s a nerd..which in a way might have saved his behind
Meticulous? Inscrutable? Why, what's your take?
i bet his parents kept them
I would bet they are bound or spiral notebook, well labeled AND legible. A person Who wants to succeed and understands order would keep such. Good supreme court pick.
I knew an old sergeant who had all his Leave & Earnings Statements from the day he enlisted in binders. What a civilian might call a paycheck stub.
Calendars are very slim. I likely still have some from that period. They’re memories of one’s life narrative, useful for some people to recall details - just as its serving Kavanaugh well now.
“Who in the world has their HIGH SCHOOL calendars?”
I kept mine for 40 years. Finally let them go last time we moved. I was not a nerd really, but more a sentimental packrat. Calendars, test papers/grades from kindergarten on, newspaper clippings, even still have the pencil I used in 1st grade lol.
Yep. He’s an OCD geek who’d not even think of what he’s accused of.
Someone who aspires to be in the legal profession.
These are not wall calendars you hang on a nail.
These are legal notepads with dates where you write your schedule in.
sure its weird, but I bet his parents had boxes of this sort of stuff and gave them to him. I know my parents gave me a box of stuff I had completely forgotten I had including old diaries.
My college roommate does...50 years worth!
His mother was a judge, and no doubt
had a great influence.
Who puts high school keggers on their calendar? Nobody. That’d be like putting a sunday visit to the strip club on your calendar. Not going to happen.

He has a lot in common with Ted Cruz. A detail man, Ultra high IQ, strong recall.
Last summer (2017) I found a box in my basement with all my
old issues of “Jr. Historian”, a club I belonged to in high school.
Yep. I’m a boring nerd. :)
My dad passed away recently, and when going thru his stuff I found his pocket calendars from back in the 60’s and 70’s. These are not wall calendars, but paper calendar books, usually with a leatherette cover, with 1 week spanning 2 pages, so you could see your week at a glance. They were about the size of a cell phone. I remember Dad ALWAYS had his on him, and he recorded every place he had to go, who he was meeting with, phone numbers, etc. They were extremely common with business people, and I bet some mentor got Kavanaugh in the habit of using them early, which is part of why he is so successful now.
