He is a new coach who will learn from those mistakes. Yes, probably should have knelt, but he didn’t want to give the ball back with any time left. Having a freshman carry it in that situation was not smart.

One more thing to be hopeful about; that Donald Trump is not the last of his kind. It’s going to be really hard to choose between Jeb Bush and John Kasich in 2028 after President Trump’s 2nd term ends....
If correct, this explains their demand for a Thursday hearing, and a cross-country drive. Calls for a VOTE NOW DAMMIT ! are premature if the votes aren't there.
Apparently Flake, Collins, Murkowski may want to bend further until they realize they're being played for dupes. Flake knows already, I suspect. Let them know how we voters feel. Grassley knows. No votes are killers....nothing else matters. Late votes mean little

IIRC, Ford also works for a Pharma company that produces a version of the abortion pill, RU486.

I have read that after Thursday it’s hard to get a new scotus on the court for October,so the clock is ticking.
The Dems. are trying to hold on to a few female voters. They also need something to help their fund raising and keep Soros money flowing.
This gives them something to cause protest. If Kavanaugh makes it through this process, they will push impeachment of both Trump and Kavanaugh. They may think it will help people remember to vote.
