Well look is also now “involved”.
What a freak show this is.
You know our head coach is from Bama. Very tough loss we choked away. Would have liked to see us play Tide ball in OT rather than throwing, but team is much improved from last year. Fumbles kill.
Ho hum...I have to hear what Pompeo have to say..Lindsey Graham? I thought he’d still be in mourning.
So happy to finally meet you in person! Hope your commute over to Orlando was a safe trip, and not too stop-and-go on crazy Interstate 4 from Tampa. Let's get together again soon.
This is on e of Clarice’s best columns! Love the analogy comparing Ford to an Edsel:

Lindseed actually has become the President’s best ally.
Why do it? What’s in it for the cabal? The abortion thing is an easy guess and there are always those who think that even though Kavanaugh has described “Roe” as settled law that he can never be trusted to allow planned parent hood to keep selling those baby body parts and killing those babies by the thousand.
—
That’s what confuses me. Do they suffer under the illusion that, if they destroy Kavanaugh, that Trump is going to nominate from pro-abortion nutcase to the Supreme Court? Of course he’s not, so they’re right back to square one no matter WHAT they do.
Same disconnect I see in their general “resistance” to Trump. If he wakes up one day and says “screw this” and quits ... they’re going to end up with Mike Pence, who they’d probably hate even MORE than Trump. So why try to get rid of Trump?
Or do they just function on sheer butt-hurt-ness from losing the election - kind of like pussy-hat wearing zombies in “The Walking Dead.”
nominate from pro-abortion nutcase to the Supreme Court?
—
Should be “nominate some,” not “from.”
Hopeful that Christine Ford does not have a license to operate a motor vehicle. If she can't get on an airplane for a 5-hour, how can she be trusted to drive a car?
Hopeful that Christine Ford does not possess an FOID, or any other license to possess a firearm. She does not sound like she is capable of controlling her own actions.
Hopeful that people like Chuck Grassley finally figure out that this nonsense over the last few weeks is what got Donald Trump elected.
And, it's also time to be grateful that at long last John McCain is NOT available for comment on this situation, or that he has the ability to do some kind of dramatic thumbs-down gesture when this nomination finally gets voted on.
It appears that Ford is a nut and a drunk, among other things. The PGA knows her.
I been hearing that Ford now lives in Delaware and is a staple on the Dewey Beach bar scene.
Ellison is muslim and black hes untouchable.
Pence is still a DC animal and will wobble rather than fight. Trump is their worst nightmare.
I watched the game. Oregon lost the game due to a mental mistake. At the end of regulation they had a first down with about 1 minute 40 seconds on the clock. Stanford had no timeouts. They could have taken a knee and practically run out the clock. No need to run the ball. I blame the coach.
Something similar happened at the end of Old Dominion-Virginia Tech game. ODU could have taken a knee and run out the game. Instead, they chose to run it and got a two touchdown lead. However, it gave Vtech a slim chance to tie the game. Still ODU won in a major upset.
I have been watching football for a long, long time and played in high school. I have noticed that at both the college and professional levels more mental errors by the players and coaches than ever before. The Oregon debacle was just another example.
Meanwhile my gators are looking pretty good.....
It’s a great piece. She had little choice but to cover the balsy ford stuff. Its covered up any real news.
What can I tell you. Very few think many situations all the way through. For instance, there are 51k indictments out there now when 1,000 or so is the norm. How many have thought that one through.
Great post Bernard and all so true. She is a nutcase no doubt. My guess is she is being micro-manged by a host of all the wrong players.
Thanks for all you do each week in administering this thread each week. Ford and Kavanaugh will be number one topic of Talking Heads today. I don’t believe that Ford will ever testify. There will be something to come up to prevent her testifying. They need to hold the vote Monday.
If Ford testifies, I doubt any of the Reps will go anywhere near attacking her reputation. Why would a 15 year old attend an alleged drinking party with four boys? Ford added a fifth person, a girl who eventually became married to Bob Beckel for ten years. Ford is the only one who remember the party. None of the other four attendees remember it including her long time girl friend.
