If a Republican said something as inflammatory as this, every other Republican who appeared on any TV show would face a demand that he or she declare whether they agreed with this sentiment, and if they stated they did not, would be asked to condemn Aidan Hubbell-Staeble.
If they did not immediately issue such a condemnation, they would be hounded by reporters at every venue and accused of agreeing with him until he issued the condemnation.
Of course since Aidan Hubbell-Staeble is a Democrat, nothing like that will happen.
