I agree with what people say about Thomas' ordeal strengthening his stands.
Imagine if you are about to be on the Supreme Court - and believe in Western Civilization and the light it has brought to the world, the suffering it has prevented, and you see and experience in first person what it means to have law and legal principles, and the Enlightenment & Judeo-Christian principles on which those laws are based tossed out the window such that you become a victim of the mob ... as Kavanaugh is right now ...

If we/Kavanaugh make it through this, then it will have been a fire that strengthens the iron.
