Washington (CNN)Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley agreed late Friday night to allow the woman who has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault more time to decide whether to testify before Congress.
Apparently (per the article) the new deadline is 2:30 PM Saturday. God only knows if Grassley and the committee actually mean it this time.

Right - but the new info appears to be that an actual time for a response (2:30 ET PM today) has supposedly been set. Hadn’t seen that mentioned elsewhere yet.
That said, Grassley has given the entire country pretty good reason to think that he won’t just extend the “deadline” yet again.
Beginning to look a lot like Obama’s infamous “red line”.
Sigh..
If she shows up to testify, Grassley should bring in Paula Jones, Juanita Broderick and Kathleen Willey as character witnesses to testify about traumatic experiences and the ability to remember them in detail.
People gather there on boogie boards and kayaks during baseball games hoping to catch home run balls that fly out of the stadium during games.

My prediction (for what it’s worth): She will say no, Kavanaugh will testify on Monday, the Committee will move him out of Committee, but before the Senate votes she will have a change of heart (AFTER Kavanaugh testifies, of course) and the handwringers on both sides of the aisle will say ‘she wants to speak, let her speak’. She will only speak AFTER Kavanaugh testifies, so she will know what to counter. This whole mess stinks to high heaven, but it’s the Democrats, so is anyone surprised?
She looks so traumatized and broken- a regular wilting flower from her HS sexcapades.
Look, I know this is making Grassley look like he is being played. But I think he is trying to show he did everything he could to give this women a chance to come and testify before the judicial committee. Hopefully this is the last deadline he will give her.

I think she and her lawyers/advisors look more foolish because if they had a real story, they would have been all over it and out in front with it by now. None of this baloney they are pulling now. I think they are trying to get her to get her story right and seems so much is backfiring and she has no credibility.
