Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley appears to have ended the halting talks with Dr. Christine Blasey Ford about testifying next week about her allegations of sexual assault against Brett Kavanaugh. After setting a sudden 10:00 PM deadline for agreement with his terms and rejecting further talks with Ford or her lawyers, Grassley has reportedly scheduled a Committee vote on the confirmation for Monday.

There we go!
Lets hope all the GOP senators are on the same page about this and all vote to confirm.
Oh, New York Magazine says this was a “sudden” deadline.
Like all day “sudden.”
These people are ridiculous.
Yes! Thank you, Senator Grassley!
“Sudden 10:00pm deadline” LOL. She had a 36 year deadline. Stuff it, Ford.
So which is it? A vote on Monday or a 24 hour delay?
Bravo, Chuck. Thank you for stopping the circus.
The next end run is getting him charged in Maryland. That’s the plan now.
We’ll see.
Why do you ask?
It is very confusing. Fox News on tv is still saying she has one more day.

I think I hear the writer screaming and wailing as he vote this
After setting a SUDDEN 10:00 pm deadline
WTH!!! They cant win for losing, they do ALL this moving the goal posts and they STILL get screwed!! To bad the RINOS never learn!!!
Where is there anything about a 24 hour delay? The vote is Monday.
Sudden? It was written out in extensive detail to the lawyer and was an extension. The FIRST deadline was 5 pm.
I am surprised that New Yorker Mag is breaking this story..... wher the HELL is the AP, NY Times, WAPO, I am confused!!!
No the meeting got moved or renamed. It’s here:

Sudden? That was an additional 12 hour extension after a one week delay in the vote specifically because of her, after agreeing to 2 additional days of time for her to testify.
It was beyond obvious their delays in responding, then claiming that she wouldn't come forward until later in the week, that this was a partisan delaying in concert with the Democrats to keep the vote from ever occurring.
