I am confident that McConnell has the votes. Remember, Flake was pushed out, so was Corker. They are trying to leverage to get something out of this. Both of them are guilty of corruption - that is why they are leaving the Senate. They want a better deal. It's all they have left.

I understand what you’re saying, but I think it’s doing even more damage to have the Republican congress humiliated this way by continually having to re-draw their line in the sand because some evil female feels like jerking them around until the end of time. It’s truly pathetic that Grassley has allowed this thing to turn into the circus it has.
