Later in the show when they were talking about who should question Ford, Joe responded three times, call the golfers.

WaPo was part of the plan to release Ford’s accusation at the last possible minute to delay Kavanaugh’s confirmation.

Whelan went out on a limb to get her to deny she wasn’t mixing up the two. And it’s hard to understand why.
Theory:
He got Ms. Ford to respond unequivocally that there was no way it was Garrett. So when Kavanaugh hits her with his testimony that it’s impossible that it was him, who is she going to say it was?

I suspect the WaPo was supposed to put this story out first, but decided against it after doing some research. That left the dirty job up to ol’ DiFi. After all, Kavanaugh must be stopped at all costs, thus the over-the-top screaming from the left now.
The compost has higher standards than DNC Senators.

I know you said that tongue in cheek but WaPo is smart enough to know that this lady is a ticking bomb that could well explode in the Dems faces. The Post will do what it can to protect their political brethren, as they always do.
